Sure. What would the world be coming to if there was a free market for applications. I'm sure the missing App Store is the number one reason why the Mac never reached a significant market share. It's surprising that Microsoft Windows could reach the pole position without an App Store. Maybe it has something to do with their outstanding support for developers and OEMs and the fact that they don't care on what hardware their platform runs.

You can't help but wonder how amazing this device is going to be compared to all the other similar units out there - if it's anything like the iPhone it's going to be an industry changer for sure.

The rumors are a little tiring though.

Maybe they'll announce them side-by-side with the new MBP lineup - that's what I'm really looking forward to....

I want to carry my iPad anywhere and annotate on it with my iPen. Right now the iPhone doesn't have the granularity to use a pen, but I'll bet the iPad will.

I cant imagine Apple would want to release a new iPhone and tablet at the same time in WWDC, so i would wager that if this rumour has any truth, it would be released upon or soon after announcement.

Wasn't the lead time for the original iPhone so that it wasn’t leaked by the FCC? and while a tablet is big news, its not quite such a massive departure from the status quo as the iPhone was.

Sounds more like, six months ago you didn't listen when we said what a tablet could be used for. Now, some of us still want one, others are merely curious, and you're still in the dark.

Aw, common, please. Don't throw me into a pit just because you misunderstand what I wanted to say. The pure fact that I (and a lot of other people) are discussing about the topic is a hint that I am not uninterested in the topic. I'm just asking the question which had been asked since the beginning of the rumor six months ago. Since then, no cutting edge idea (the famous killer app) has been introduced which we would not know from other devices. And this is all there is to.

It's still a rumor. Sure, apple has some vision, but so far, not even a single Bit of trusted source could ever tell that an apple tablet really is coming. This is macrumors. It's fun to discuss, don't take it so serious.
