I hope it's not just the Beatles - good as they were.

I've ripped all my Beatles' CDs and I'm sure so have most other Beatles' fans - they won't be getting any more $ out of me ... This might have been big news when iTunes was only a couple of years old, but now it's just pathetic.

Who really gives a crap if the Beatles make it to the iTunes Store ever? Or ACDC for that matter? Or all the other hold outs from the digital age? Copies of their songs are floating around on the net everywhere - people who wanted them that badly, who didn't want to buy a CD have had ample opportunity to download songs illegally - the only ones who have lost out throughout the whole process are the surviving Beatles and the record companies.

It starts as a non-event in my book if this is all it is.

i heard apple is going to announce that justin beiber has come out with a new album and itunes will be the first one to allow you hear a 90 second preview of one of the songs on it...

If i wait all day just to find out it's a stupid Beatles announcement i'm not going to be to impressed.....

I do think it's going to be something more epic, i see a streaming service incoming.:D

My thoughts exactly - but I only have myself to blame. What did Apple do apart from put up a small advert on their website. Maybe we should take Steve Jobs advice and just relax a bit.

Ha Ha.. It was 01:30 AM when I saw this message and I LOLed. Too funny! :D

I couldn't care less about the Beattles. I never liked them, never will. Even if I adored them, I wouldn't care if Apple brings them to iTunes. I would have already have everything via other means...

morning.

Why is the apple site still saying tomorrow!? Fail.
I saw that too.

For what it's worth, I don't think this is for The Beatles. I don't think it's a stretch to think that it's a feature that needs 10.1 to function, as it's just recently been released.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

Look at the free single this week. A day to remember.

morning.

Why is the apple site still saying tomorrow!? Fail.

Presumably two reasons:

1) When Apple makes the announcement (or says that it will!) it'll be 10AM in New York and 7AM in California. That's pretty early in the day still, so most people wont have seen the announcement again today.

2) It probably is a reference to song lyrics that they don't want to remove.

sorry if this might be redundant info, but:
"tomorrows just another day" is not from the beatles or any one of them, but a song by MADNESS. why is everyone drawing the connetion to the announced beatles-itunes integration?

anyway, MADNESS fits pretty well to the whole thing, doesn't it.....

"I hear them saying...."

Guys, the Uk site has gone back to the tomorrow thing again.

Maybe there is another announcement tomorrow?

Beatles? That's it?

Why do we do this to ourselves?
I'm with many others - too little (as in not really very exciting), too late (got the boxed set ripped) and forgotten already.:(

Hmm a day I will never forget... Unless they are bricking my iphone I am quite sure I will forget it easily.... Maybe I am a little burnt on Apples never ending stream of the greatest thing that has never been heard of or even thought of and now we are bringing it to you even though other people have been offering it for possibly years now... Cloud would be nice since I am running out of space with the small 32gb that Apple left me with this year for an iPhone.

ROFL thanks Apple a day I will never forget... Maybe its like the fortune cookie and something else will happen in my life because the Beatles are not new and I have every song I have wanted by them for years now.... Pure fail...
