Ai is a dead duck, literally they cannot even power all the data centres Ai is housed in, combined they take more power then an entire country does! And that is only the current ones. They shouldn’t hedge all there bets on something they cannot guarantee will even turn on..

Tim Cook did say something similar earlier this year

"As I said at the beginning of my remarks, this was, in so many ways, a remarkable quarter for Apple, and we're excited for all the opportunities we'll have in the year ahead to deliver innovations that have never been seen before and enrich the lives of users every step of the way," said Cook, on an earnings call on Thursday.
The first product after this statement was the Neo, which has some PC makers shook.

In other words, John is announcing that Apple, in the near future, will be getting rid of as many employees as possible to maximize their profits with AI. Zuckerberg is already announcing he's having all workers screen and mouse movements being recorded so it can train AI.

Polishing cloth updates?
This is the biggest issue facing the company. That and new wheels for the discontinued Mac Pro. What are people supposed to do if the existing wheels wear out? I wish I lived in the EU, they would never let apple take my wheels away

That’s right, folks, this is the BEST, MOST POWERFUL roadmap that Apple has EVER had! And Apple didn’t stop there! This year, Apple is taking the OS to a whole new level, with a game-changing update to the best-in-class Siri!

But seriously, I was really hoping to see a bit of a change in Apple’s continual need for increasing hyperbole. If their products are truly great (and I tend to think most are), they are obsessed with overselling, making all of their PR feel like a work.

A credible roadmap would be preferable. I’m pretty sure the initial Apple Intelligence announcement was based on an incredible roadmap. 😉

In an all-hands meeting with employees today, Apple's future CEO John Ternus teased an "incredible road map ahead."

"I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the most exciting time to be building products and services at Apple in my entire career," said Ternus. While the meeting was private, Ternus' comments were reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Appearing alongside Apple's current CEO Tim Cook at the Steve Jobs Theater, Ternus expressed optimism about artificial intelligence in particular.

"AI is going to create almost unlimited potential," said Ternus. "We're going to be able to keep unlocking possibilities that are going to create entirely new opportunities for our products and services, and I'm so excited about what that's going to mean for our users." Unsurprisingly, he did not provide any specific details at this time.

"We are about to change the world once again," he said.

Ternus ensured that design remains "core" to Apple, and he promised that the company is still committed to user privacy and environmental responsibility.

As for Cook, he told employees he is "healthy" and plans to serve as Apple's executive chairman for "a long time." Apple said Cook will "assist with certain aspects of the company, including engaging with policymakers around the world."

Ternus will become Apple's CEO on September 1.

Sounds like they are going to release the AirPower charging mat. 🤣

Dear Mr Ternus,
Congratulations!
Now, I would like to ask for one small wish that I've had since 2020; iMac Pro XDR with Multi-Point Tension Hinge with articulation and Apple Pencil Support. Not a touch screen, but an "Apple Pencil compatible Screen" While you're at it, you might as well throw that same screen on a 17" MacBook Pro as well. Since you'll have the tech, you can also add apple pencil support to the iPhone Pro Max/Ultra too!
Thank You! Good luck. 🤞😉 

Really enjoying the fact that he sounds a lot like Tim Cook. All the folks that were wanting Tim Cook to go are soon going to be wanting Ternus to go. 🙂

Just once I would love another Apple teaser image and date, huge production keynote intro fly in right to the campus, fancy camera and lighting and staging as usual, and the Apple executive comes out and says ..... well, I checked, and turns out we got nothing. Nada. Zilch. Never mind the road map, we don't even have a road .... maybe come back next year, if we are forced to do another of these keynote things I guess .... peace out!"

That is why they are working on Fusion Reactors, it is just the next progression of humanity! Resistance is futile!
