Don’t know what’s going on but I’m happy Fortnite’s gone
FYI! Lawers do not make laws. 😂Apple’s legal team have been very busy. 2 trillion dollar company! Bet you, they have the best lawyer‘s in this planet.
But they do fight for the right laws to be applied.FYI! Lawers do not make laws. 😂
I just played some Fortine on my PS4, they have a bunch of awesome Marvel skins going on this Season. I’m assuming most ppl have access to Fortnite on a device outside Apple’s ecosystem, and most Fortnite players that do use iOS, already have the game downloaded, still, this whole thing sucks for new players and those who are buying new devices.
It’s not ended, yet.
EPIC will win, and Apple will have to pay damages later.
Ohh boy this will be expensive for Apple... 🤣
This is a win for indie iOS developers.
Actually, Apples lawyers are fighting against consumer protection laws. 🤣But they do fight for the right laws to be applied.

Stores always take a cut. You sell Fortnite at Walmart, they take a cut. You sell in-app purchases in the App Store, then Apple is totally reasonable to want a cut. If you think you can thrive without the marketplace/middle-man, then by all means sell direct to consumers...but don’t try to have your cake and eat it too, using someone else’s marketplace but bypassing them in sales.
This will be declared for invalid later , you’ll see..Epic broke the law by violating an already agreed TOS contract with Apple.
That is literally what they are trying to do. Sell directly to consumers. Apple won’t allow that, because, reasons. How do you guys not see the problem? Also that’s not how retail works anyway. Stores buy from manufacturers at a fixed price and then mark it up to make a profit. Profit isn’t guaranteed to the store.
No loss since Apple hasn't been considered a gaming platform for the last four decades since the Apple II. And, most people have another device like Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox, PC, Android, etc. that they can continue playing Fortnite on.
And how, precisely, do they sell directly to consumers on iOS?
I think you misread my statement. I'm saying all devs should follow the rules of the App Store which includes paying their share.Totally is. They shouldn't have to pay a single penny. Everything should be free. /s
