This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the internet. Whether you swing to the right or the left politically, what the events of the past few days have shown all of us is that Big Tech is far too powerful an entity and seemingly beyond the reach of even the highest office. These Tech conglomerates in Silicon Valley have revealed their monopoly on our digital communication networks and the impunity they have to act as they please without repercussions, all under the guise of "it's a private company bro they can do what they want". Something needs to be done.
Here is the full text of 1st amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

See the first word is Congress, not Twitter, apple or google. The government can’t restrict your speech, apple google and any other private company, can!

don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Bad move Apple

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Yes, cause misunderstanding Niemoller, a famous anti-Nazi priest, is what we should do after neo-Nazis (not just my words - see The Telegraph here) storm the Capitol building. Niemoller was talking about people failing to stand up to fascism and oppression - media failing to call out Trump’s words has been a major theme of the past 4 years and only now are we seeing action. Parler really should know this.

It's a digital dictatorship. We allowed Silicon Valley to make us all this cool stuff and we turned a blind eye to how much control we allowed them to retain. We didn't want to play a part in the process of governing the information they had control over, and now they stand as questionably the tallest peak of power in the United States, beyond even the highest elected office of president of the United States. That's too much power for these "companies" to hold.
I never trusted the tech companies, they are all data harvesting for the CIA/NSA and other intelligence agencies. Thats why they make it free. Its all a trap.

It's hilarious how the group who's always pointing their fingers and laughing at others for going to their "safe space"...so desperately needs their own. Fox News, Brietbart, OAN, Parler...
these apps literally are banning people like for example reddit and were told to make your own app guess what they did now the same people telling them to make a new app are trying to ban the app

bro they ban you for speech and tell you to get your own site , you make your own site then app , then they try to ban you to get your own servers you then make your own servers , then they try to ban you from even searching or downloading even the self owned app this is why dot win sites came out against reddit. and yet you people are still trying to ban it lol. literal fascism

Wait, they're censoring him from using their platform just for inciting riot that led to a breach to our Federal institutions and the death of five people? Not in my America!
I'm fine with this, but only if they're consistent. For instance, they need to start banning Antifa for the very reason you cited. And any other organizations/countries using it for similar reasons.

While I have been a huge fan of Apple (owned every single generation of iPhone from the original one to 12 Pro Max, several MacBook Pros, a handful of iPads and several iPods back in the day) I will not stand for this. Banning stuff like Epic for willingly circumventing AppStore rules is one thing, but banning an app because you don't like what it's used for is total censorship. While using Android or any other OS may not be as easy and enjoyable as iOS, macOS, etc., I will NOT stand for censorship. If Apple does this, I am done.
Google already got rid of it lmao, so good luck I guess.

This won't end well. Do not censor apps like this. People post terrible things on Twitter... but we do not BAN THE APP?!
Twitter has moderation policies to prevent insurrection and other acts of violence. They do not always work, but they try.

Parler has none of that and Apple is merely asking for similar moderation features which their CEO is rejecting as censorship. Moderating violence is not the same as censorship.

You are allowed to say whatever you like - you aren’t guaranteed any platform or medium to share it.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The important part here is the first word: Congress. Twitter, Facebook, Apple, etc are not Congress.

Do we need to modernize our laws to ensure they appropriately capture the technology that has enabled the rapid spread of information? Absolutely. But as of today, the Constitution has no say in what private companies decide to do with content on their platform.

That’s not what they’re doing, which you’d know if you read the article.

It has nothing to do with “points of view,” unless you consider plotting violence to be just another perspective.

And here is video of that "violent invasion" of the Capital Building when Capital Police opened the doors and stood aside to invite Trump supporters into the building. At 22 seconds into the video you see one Capital Police Officer say "I disagree with you, but respect your..." then the audio becomes inaudible as the person recording the video keeps moving into the building. I didn't really see the much violence in this video of people "storming" the capital building.
