Even if manufacturing is going back to normal, Apple should expect a drastic reduction in the demand of their products. A lot of people are tightening their belts because they don’t feel safe about their jobs anymore if not laid off already.

That's what I think too and it may be true for the iPhone.
Many people are working or studying from home though, so some other products may sell more than usual. The new MacBook Air may be successful this quarter, so the iPad. Maybe not the Pro model they just renewed, but the base model or the Air can be great companions during these weeks at home.
I just bought a new Mac for myself, as my wife needs to work from home and is using my old laptop. I can see many families doing the same especially if both parents needs to work remotely. Of course many more will be on low budget and won't be able to afford a new device, at least not an expensive one.
As for the iPhone, I think it going to be a low priority this fall. Many people won't be able to afford it, and others will prioritise other technology gadgets like I said before. I feel lucky as I can work from home and still get paid, that's why I could afford to buy a brand new MacBook Pro, but I don't feel like spending another 1000 this fall for a new iPhone, same for the Watch. I'll update those devices in 2021

This is why a refresh now might stimulate those people who don't have devices capable of tapping into the video conferencing boom while people are working from home.

There's a low technology floor - but a floor nonetheless - with Group FaceTime calls. And Apple very quickly applied an iOS fix for users having difficulty with FaceTime to older iOS devices. You do wonder if users with iPhone 6 or older models in a household may get upgrades to be able to participate in Group FaceTime - apple will surely have the numbers on how many more of these are occurring recently.

The numbers for the last quarter will not look good, no question. The forward outlook will be what matters.
According to the orange genius, we should be fine by Easter (which is in a few days). So the next quarter will suffer a little bit of Covid-19 problems, and after that Apple will be fine.

If you trust the orange genius, obviously. If not, then the next quarter will be a disaster, and nobody knows about the quarter after that.

Hopefully, they won't waste a precious slot asking about 5g iPhones like last year.
5G iPhones are urgently needed in the UK, so the idiots who think 5G towers cause coronavirus can discuss it more efficiently with all their equally idiotic mates.

Gotta be ready for it to go to $150 or worse. If that happens, be greedy...nothing matters if Apple is screwed anyway, so it will eventually go back to normal. If not, money won't matter anyway.

Yeah learned my lesson last time it went to $144. Can't plan for the end of the world as it only happens once. I will buy more aggressively as it goes down making sure I keep enough ammo to finish the job this time.
