Insurance cardFor those of you that still use physical wallets, what do you store in them?
The assumption that no one has cause to carry the items you mention is fairly incredulous to me. It seems quite out of touch for digital babies (as I call that generation). They also seem to fail to realize not everyone lives in cities or suburbs were contactless transactions are more prevalent.Driver’s license (Ohio doesn’t have digital yet), CC’s (not everything is contactless), insurance cards (health, vision, dental, prescription - providers want a physical card), HSA debit (again, no contactless) and cash (some places I frequent are cash only)
I've been using the Pebblebee Card for about a year. Works flawlessly with FindMy. Thinner than Chipolo. Rechargeable and a charge lasts almost a year. Great tech support. Lower price, too: $29.99 versus $35. Not sure why Apple chose the Chipolo product.

Two credit cards, debit card, driver license, and cash. For those of you that still use physical wallets, what do you store in them?
So what, you like that. How are you gonna feel when you're only allowed in your own padded room. For the sake of the children, of course. So in your mind we just give up and suffer at the chains of government. If you walk around with a smartphone you already have a tracking device in you. Also if you live in a big city there are cameras tracking everything.
cash, credit cards and ID. same as always lol.For those of you that still use physical wallets, what do you store in them?
No, you don’t need the account.Reading the past MacRumors post, seeing that it is the thickness of three credit cards is decent but I'd love for it to get to about half that thickness.
No user-replaceable battery is too bad but it's probably a necessary trade-off for being water resistant and not needing to make it thicker to accommodate a removable design.
It's great that it works with Find My, but do you need to create a Chipolo account or otherwise use a Chipolo app to use it? I would love to set it up within the Find My app and not create a third-party account or use a third-party app for this kind of thing, just like how you can set up a HomeKit-compatible smarthome product from within Apple's Home app.
I hope this product does well and in turn that Apple makes a card version of the AirTag.
Cash, ID, driver license, health insurance card. Credit and debit cards. Business cards. And to store receipts of spent money for fiscal reasons. + other random stuffFor those of you that still use physical wallets, what do you store in them?
"Cash only" and "some places I frequent" Do you mean the local Trap House?Driver’s license (Ohio doesn’t have digital yet), CC’s (not everything is contactless), insurance cards (health, vision, dental, prescription - providers want a physical card), HSA debit (again, no contactless) and cash (some places I frequent are cash only)
I made an account just to comment on this.. don’t buy these cards. I bought 2, one for me and one for my partner, and both just don’t work. One was replaced by customer service (fair enough) but even the third card in our household did not function properly. Now the batteries died and they are even more useless. Don’t waste your money on this constant pinging, non-tracking, thick and expensive piece of plastic trash. And just to clarify: i own several air tags and they work just fine.
Apple's online store will begin selling the Chipolo CARD Spot on Tuesday, March 14, according to a Chipolo spokesperson. Like the AirTag, the CARD Spot supports Apple's Find My app. The circular Chipolo ONE Spot will not be sold by Apple.

Priced at $35, the Chipolo CARD Spot is a card-shaped item tracker designed for use with wallets. The accessory allows you to easily track the location of a wallet in the Items tab of the Find My app on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple does not offer a card-shaped version of the AirTag, giving the CARD Spot a unique advantage for wallets. For additional information, read our hands-on review of the CARD Spot published last year.
Apple launched the AirTag in April 2021, and the hardware has not been updated since. Apple did refresh its AirTag accessories lineup last week.

TJs in the San Francisco Bay Area accept Apple Pay.Thanks for posting this, I never heard of it! I just ordered a 2-pack. Looks to be vastly superior to the Chipolo.
And even in big cities. E.g. Trader Joe's is a supremely popular grocery chain across all generations, yet there isn't a single digital payment terminal to be found in any of their stores.
I did the same thing. Now I buy a chain wallet, remove the chain, add my keys to where the chain was and boom! Success!I guess that means no wallet sized AirTags. I might have to give this thing a go since I misplace my wallet as often as I do my keys. 😬
You can actually enable left behind alerts. Also, since its lacking UWB like Apple's AirTag, you cannot enable left behind notifications that might have helped.
The button is is hardly a button. it doesn't poke out. Maybe try flipping the card in your wallet? I've not had that issue.Another downside is that it was frequently beeping and making noises when I'd sit down - the Card Spot has a button on it unlike Apple's Airtag.
Which wallet is this ?I'd noticed that my physical/traditional wallet was always full of receipts for things that I'd purchased more than cash lol. So I went with one of these "airtag wallets" which essentially has a custom place to hold the airtag. I also keep in here my debit card, a credit card, my Costco card, and another store card inside. And my drivers licence on the back. No more old receipts!

Not around here, which is surprising given how many college students and tech-industry employees we have.TJs in the San Francisco Bay Area accept Apple Pay.
