I wish they would stream the thing live. It is fun to place your bets, then watch and speculate live. I sit in the 5by5.tv IRC channel and chat with people while it is going on and it is much better when people aren't all out of sync from reading various live blogs.

Also hate dealing with all of the voiceover on TWiT or CNET's streams when they are doing second-hand audio versions of the live blogs.

Apple has been really nit-picky and restrictive LATELY about streaming their events....WHY APPLE? You used to do this all the time for the general public via online stream...and now NOTHING??? Really, Apple? Shows lack of care for their customers and fan base.

Maybe they're trying to cut down on bandwidth costs. Gotta watch that bottom line y'know. :)

We Still Have a Lot To Cover

Very cryptic, but it could be a hint that more coloured devices are on their way. (a lot to cover) Even the picture shows the standard colours Apple uses on it's new iPhone 5c range.

Are we going to see an iPad with coloured back panels?
Maybe new iPod range in the new iPhone 5c style?

How cool would it be if Apple announced its own, low-cost MVNO that would cover a significant percentage of its users? First rolling out in the United States and the UK.

If Apple announce they would hold satellite event in London or any other place, there is a big chance there will be no live stream :(

I'm guessing to prevent any buffering or downtime with the event relay :(

I'd really be surprised if this event impresses anyone. The tech industry claims of late that most of Apple's product introductions are not very innovative and pretty much a snooze-fest. I honestly don't know what the pundits are expecting because most of Apple's products are selling well and therefore will have rather predictable upgrades. I don't think Apple has the capability of building flexible cases or tripling battery life. It seems as though practically every product Apple has rolled out over the last couple of years is met with collective yawns. It's really a shame how jaded the tech industry has become. :( I'm pretty sure most consumers believe Apple is fine where it is on a technical level.

I'll be in the office with a terrible internet connection so live streaming probably wouldn't work for me anyways (and I'm not going to chew up my precious 6GB of limited data for that).

Just let me get my iPad .. i'll be happy. :D

Although I won't be able to watch anyway, I wish there was a live stream for those who can. Very recent history points to there not being one however....

I will just have to avoid the internet until the live stream/podcast is available

highly doubt it. Apple's events have been pretty predictable.

iPad mini with Retina, faster processor, possibly 128GB option and possibly TouchID.

iPad 5th gen. with faster processor, redesigned enclosure and possibly TouchID.

new MacBook Pros/Mac minis with faster processors and better battery life.

information about Mavericks. Mac Pro price and release date.

can't imagine they'd say anything else...

Doesn't seem 'predictable' to me if you don't know 100% for sure what they will release.

Based on the recent article about how kluged together the original iPhone was during it's introduction 6 months before release, Apple is capable of showing off any prototype and having it be production-ready in 6 months time.

Apple TV.

You heard it here first.

/famous last words.

But it will just be another black box. Not a tv

If they wanted to really shock folks they should put out new cinema displays with HDMI, 40+ size etc. Plus revamp of iTunes stores with h.265 higher quality, more reasonable pricing and get extras on iOS and Apple TV like Steve hinted why the Apple TV 2 released.

They would be more likely to do that with phones

Satellite?

Why don't they use their "never used by anyone" FaceTime.

Because it's not a one to many protocol

Maybe it's a wearable 12" iPad in the iPhone 5C colours

Think Teletubbies but for adults.

I remember Teletubbies. Is it still on? My children used to watch when they were little. I remember when it first came on. Some parents thought it was Satanic. Wow, I'm having flashbacks now. Better stop. :apple:

Why do they need a big huge event for a lame iPad iteration that did nothing but bump up the processor and get rid of the useful side bezels?

Why is it that you are even on these forums? Just about every post I have read of yours has been negative and not at all helpful to a discussion. Maybe you should consider going to another site. Honestly, some of us are just tired of your comments and trolling.
