Apple to issue recall/new iphone 4?

I have a bumper. I don't want a bumper.

The bumper DOES help out with the signal / reception issues, and it DOES provide some protection.

That being said, I didn't have a "bumper" or case of any type for my original iPhone, my iPhone 3G, or my iPhone 3Gs, and I really wish I didn't need one for my iPhone 4.

In addition to adding significant bulk to the phone, the iPhone 4 with Bumper won't fit in the iPhone dock, and won't fit in my ProClip car mount, either.

If there was a fix that would allow me to ditch the Bumper, I would lose it in a heartbeat.
