Here ya go.WatchbandI don't keep up with the Apple Watch news (I don't own one) but seeing this story made me wonder if Apple has produced a special band for the support of Ukraine.
Who said anything about a new Apple Watch? What’s the point in a new Apple Watch when the series 8 is coming in 3 months?
Corporations will lobby what makes them the most money. I'm not sure how lobbying for anti-LGBTQ causes would help make money though. Apple has come under fire for lobbying causes that were considered anti human rights when it comes to their factory workers but that's because they're trying to keep costs down. The same people who complain about Apple not treating their emoyees better are complaining about the prices... If they start spending more money on their factory employees then prices will go up. You can't have it both ways ?♂️?I agree on the small business side. On the big business side, you’re not obligated to lobby Congress, but if you’re already lobbying Congress for anti-LGBTQ causes/politicians while also selling pride stuff, then yes, I’m going to criticize.
The original article from MR implied that there was a new Apple Watch coming alongside a new bandWho said anything about a new Apple Watch?
It's literally the 3rd sentence / 2nd paragraph which reads:Who said anything about a new Apple Watch?
Of course no different than other things: it’s all personal value judgements.I understand where you're coming from but it's no different than many other things. Maybe a watch band has no appeal to you so that's why you think it's wasteful but you would spend an extra $100 on something else (Shoes?). I mean the whole thing is a luxury from the start. The $700+ iPhone it's connected to could be a $100 android phone and the $400+ watch could be a $20 watch. I bought the dark blue (almost black) one not for looks but for comfort. It's worth it to me because I really like how it feels over the regular band. Of course still a luxury because yeah I wasn't going to die from the minor discomfort of the plastic band.
Special Edition/Limited Edition = $$$ for Apple. What’s the point in a new Apple Watch when the series 8 is coming in 3 months?
My money is on Ukraine. Can't wait till they pick a new CEO. Apple has made being straight seem out of style. What's the next band color going to be for the new group that comes out?
The original ones had at least a touch of class to them. These new ones with brown, black, white, etc. just look like hot garbage. The problem is you have people who will never be satisfied until their tiniest of tiny schism is represented in some public way so that they can make others "take notice" that they exist. A.) No one cares. B.) Just be a good person. C.) Things will take care of themselves. The rainbow included everyone and does look funky but now they had to add to it for some reason it just looks odd
That is kind of sick! (Good sick, like “siiiiick!” ??♂️)
Agree on overpriced, disagree on third party quality, they are usually, way worse.I still can’t even imagine buying an official apple band… they’re soooo overpriced and a band is something easily replicated by third parties, often for the better
The connectors were silver stainless steel if I recall correctly.Oh that’s pretty cool. Doubt the connectors are space black though, and the nylon buckle bands don’t look that good anymore with the Series 7 redesign.

Unironically...I am doing just this, just with a S7 Titanium, and with that exact band from 2015.oh, I do.
How to ruin your Apple Watch: the ugliest straps yet | Mobile Fun Blog
Apple are trying very hard to make the Apple Watch their first true luxury product; a fashion accessory that appeals to the upper end of the economic spectrum. Thankfully, the world at large is bringing Apple back down to earth in comic fashion, by crafting some of the most dreadful straps...www.mobilefun.co.uk
