Periodically there's good or at least interesting information. I also enjoy reading other's commentary, some of which is informative and occasionally leads me to new products or analyses and sites. There is a community here, which I enjoy. Even when it's just people complaining about not getting what they imagined was going to be released as a new product iteration/product line...LOL.It really doesnt matter... the current iPads are great for practically everyone...
The only reason there is so much fuss is because this is a rumour site... and the people on here are a tiny fraction of Apples customer base.
And I'm on here too... but increasingly I just get bored... there just doesnt seem to be the juicy rumours there used to be. It's all become a bit boring.
I definitely want one of the new OLED iPad Pros in the 13" when they're released. Or maybe the 11". Not sure! Right now I have an M1 iPad Pro 12.9" mini-LED version, which is great for what it is. My 11" iPad Pro is the same model as yours, I think, 2018 or 2019 (I don't recall offhand).Fine. I don't care anymore. And if Apple is still busy writing the software, it'll probably be as buggy as can be. I'll just spend my money on something outside the Apple ecosystem. Enough already.
It still is a GREAT keyboard for the iPad. It has a few deficiencies that I noticed over time for how I like to use the keyboard, but pretty much an 9 out of 10 in terms of quality. Though, just this past week one of the key covers detached from my keyboard. I do blame myself because I constantly wipe it down with a sponge and water (not too much). It's lasted around 2-3/4 years now. It has problems posting in forums like this or on reddit, it will skip out of the text field and jump around the page. Annoying.Damn. I just took advantage of that recent Amazon Magic Keyboard open box sale for my 2018 iPad Pro and it totally transformed my use of the iPad. So much so I have been eagerly anticipating the pricing to drop on the refurb M1 iPad Pros so I can get a few years of use with my new-to-me keyboard with a fresh battery and double the RAM.
There are no features that are hardware dependent. Only features that apple gatekeeps to newest devices, via software.Not surprised if they push the iPads to WWDC and highlight the new features that can run only on that hardware. Every iPad needs a refresh, all of them.
If it sucked the joy out of it for me, I just would not read them. Seriously. I've been reading rumours about Apple since 2001/2002 and watching every keynote since I had a Mac capable of it (2002? maybe since I know the LC 575 couldn't do it since it was 68K but the iMac G3 with Mac OS 9 and QuickTime 5 could). It never killed the fun of watching Steve Jobs or later Keynotes. I purposely don't read any rumours the day before though. That used to be my limit so I could enjoy whatever was released or talked about.These clickbait rumours suck all the joy out of new product announcements.
Those were the good old days. And they’ve been gone ever since Tim Apple got the reigns.iPad Air should not exist. The money-people at it again. Bring the product-people back.
Edit: to clarify — iPad Air should be renamed "iPad" and sold as the regular iPad model, in one size only. iPad Pro should get more features including dual orientation cameras, improved speakers, additional ports, up-tp 8 TB and OLED display, to further differentiate from the regular model. All iPads should support a singular model of Apple Pencil and all other Pencils should go bye-bye. Current regular iPad should become a corporate and education bulk-purchase item only. Streamline; improve; refine; clarify.
Right there with you.![]()
my dissapointment is immesurable and my day is ruined. i can't keep my excitment up another month.
What happened at Apple, to be honest, over the years was the goal used to be to make the best computers in the world. And that was goal one. Goal two, we got from Hewlett-Packard actually which was "we have to make a profit". Because if we don't make a profit we can't do goal one. So, yeah, I mean we enjoyed making a profit, but the purpose of making a profit was so we can make the best computers in the world. Along the way somewhere those two got reversed. The goal is to make a lot of money and well, if we have to make some good computers well ok we'll do that... 'cause we can make a lot of money doing that. And, it's very subtle. It's very subtle at first, but it turns out it's everything. That one little subtle flip... takes 5 years to see it, but that one little subtle flip in 5 years means everything.iPad Air should not exist. The money-people at it again. Bring the product-people back.

Whilst I agree the delay in itself is of little concern, the possible link to manufacturing problems and problems in use arising thereof does concern me. So I will wait for 6 months. Do not want the aluminum smart keyboard to fly off at 14,000 ft.I'd imagine that unless your niche-use iPad Pro is broken or in terminal stages, this is a never-mind situation.
That's regardless of the Tempest Inna Teacup the Professional Crystal Gazers have (tried) to whip up.
And, I'm also talking specifically the huge numbers of Coffee Table iPad Pro users.
But these are not Mac’s.{checks name of website}
