I live in San Francisco, there were no phones available on the website last night right at 10 but I checked again at 1am and reserved a black Sprint 32 GB in store. I picked it up this morning, they said I was the first iPhone 5 online reserve customer and the whole process was a breeze!
So do the phones go on sale at 10pm in your local time zone, or is it 10pm PST? There seems to be some confusion from last night.

Except they show in stock at stores. Reservations should remove from the available quantity.

I know it was PST last night, but it may be different now that the feature isn't being "launched," but who knows... This whole process has just been annoying.
All of the stores on the app say unavailable right now, unlike last night where some showed stock, is that what you guys are getting?

For those wondering where to go, just put the phone you want to buy in your cart and on the checkout page it'll show Pick Up: Select An Apple Store. Select your store there, if you're lucky.
RE: updating inventory: I'm noticing this doesn't happen right at 10p - rather it's slightly delayed. Some stories in the NY area posted around 10:08. Hoping some still update in my area soon!
Guessing this will be much easier in 2 weeks when demand slows...a bit.
