Apple to Launch Personal Pickup for iPhone 5 Tonight

I guess we are both on hunting the same store
I was looking for the 16 black ATT. I went there today and they told me all they had was Sprint and they dont know when the next shipment would come (they did not get anything new since Saturday). Did the whole pickup thingy and around 10:08 it showed stock for Victor Apple store..so I just selected it and will drive 1:20 each way to get it 
I saw stock appearing for 64gb white. (Even thought my preference was black). started the check out process and add credit card and by the time I was done there was no more stock. you gotta be really fast on this thing

Are you ATT??? Because if you are... you might be in luck.. the ATT corporate on Niagara falls boulevard (the one by the 290) has it in stock!! I checked there today and actually that's all they had ..the 64GB
How will i be able to get the upgrade price with apple if i already have the preorder?
Sorry, wasn't thinking about that. Mine was not an upgrade so I did not have that problem.

My feeling is they are pretty good you would get one at the first try if you are near a bigger store and almost sure that you at least would get one within a couple of days.

if apple is able to do next day pick up, why does Best Buy and other retailers are not getting their deliveries. It does not make any sense.

What is your pre order date then? if it's still the 14th you will get it by the end of this week..according to various sources.. otherwise cancel that pre order..thats what I did. I was with AT&T..pre ordered on the 19th! (yeah I know..) after seeing the commotion I realized Ill get it in November.. and here I am...2 days after canceling my pre order I have my iPhone 16 black waiting for me for pick up tomorrow
Final verdict is... If your effective pre order date is 15th or later.. drop it and hunt for the pick in store option
