"Last, a Mac mini with M5 and M5 Pro chips is expected to launch at some point this year."What about Mac Mini?
And the Mac Pro is left to die.
They've done it before. The M2 came out in January, the M3 came out in October of the same year.I'm sorry, but I seriously doubt Apple will update the MacBook Pro twice in the same year. If this is true, I can see people skip the M5 MacBook Pro upgrade, and wait for the M6 one that'll be released only a few months later.
It’s pretty rough for you to get excited. I’m excited though.Everything here is either iterative or something that's already been done by others, e.g. foldable phone, doorbell, home hub, glasses, etc. Pretty tough to get excited....
M5 Mac Studios this year seems very optimistic.
Hmm. No M5 iMac, or any other kind of iMac, either…
No name rumors?Security Camera: Apple-designed, HomeKit-enabled security camera accessory to be sold alongside the new smart home hub.
Face ID Doorbell: A video doorbell with Face ID and HomeKit Secure Video, wirelessly connects to a compatible deadbolt lock.
another G.I. bubble to burstI think the Home Hub was a Gurman hallucination and doesn’t exist.
I do not see why all this Home functionality could not be integrated into a 13” iPad, saving electronic waste. Environmental sustainability subjugated to tech business corporate greed. It is great for marketing though.I find the value of additional screens in fixed locations and speakers to be limited. ... If the hub enables Siri functionality, would be satisfied with the purchase. Removing the speaker and screen would be a significant improvement.
I'm looking forward to the M6 MBP redesign with touch screen - hopefully a Mac that can game AAA titles.
There are certainly a lot more games than there once was. At least now I have a nice selection of games I can play on my Mac if I want to finally ditch my PC. There was a time long ago I only played World of Warcraft. Thanks to Blizzard who supported Macs.Sadly, there are very few AAA games for Mac. For decades, Apple has never been gamer friendly for developers, except for their iOS platform (incentivized by a 30 percentage cut of the sales).
