I get 18:45 until 19:00

I get 1 to 5pm!

I'll be in the Caribbean, any idea what time I'll need to be at the bar using their wifi!? :D

[Edit] -

Live video from our special event will be right here. And so will a whole lot more.

So what else can you add to a whole lot of live video?

A whole lot of live...audio?

Their sundial-themed invitation is now also a literal countdown clock?

...subtle :)

I have never managed to get Apple's live streams to work on Chrome on Windows. Is the stream even meant to work on Chrome on Windows? I recall system requirements from previous events being OS X or iOS, but there must be a way to get this to work on Windows. Does anybody know?

Calling it now. Pre-orders begin right after the keynote.

You can link to this post when it happens. You're welcome. ;)

:apple:

Would have to stream this on my iPad or iPhone to watch live with no Wifi possible, anyone have any clue how many GB that is?

Depends on bitrate and how long the keynote lasts. Ballpark, figure at least 500MB (1000Kbps and 1 hour), and potentially up to 5GB (5000Kbps and 2 hours).

safari browsers only - not sure if they're still available for windows though. or get a browser that can spoof the safari user-agent.

From the website (http://www.apple.com/live/) : "Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later."

I was all ready to work from home but alas a meeting pops up and I have to be on-site.

Meeting at 11 - hopefully we get done before 12 so I can drop off my co-worker and run over to the local mall. I'll watch the keynote on my iPad at the Starbucks outside the Apple Store just like last year :apple:

Excellent. My boss is inexplicably taking the day off Tuesday so I will be able to watch.

Something biblical must be afoot.

Cool, my cap is 12GB a month and i rarely go over 6-7 so should be ok regardless, thanks for the info!
