Oh if it comes to that, I'll be ready......

I was looking forward to camping out. But if pre-orders go live right after the keynote, I'll likely be jumping on that provided I'm guaranteed delivery on day 1.

Apple Kremlinology: initially this page struck me as odd. "And so will a whole lot more" is an awkward, clunky phrase. Not the kind of prose Apple PR usually writes.

And what's it referring to? The "here" in the previous sentence. Where's here? This web page I guess, apple.com/live. But they're implying "more" will be "here" than just the live stream.

Crazy prediction: this is both the live stream page AND the future product page. Say hello to "Apple Live"

(Consider also, it might rhyme with "give". Think: watch, health kit, homekit etc etc.)

This is going to be a nightmare.

I can't see this being anything but a media feeding frenzy downer no matter what they come out with. It is simply being built up way to high not to fail. That said.... I can't wait.

Apple themselves are counting down to the event? HOLY. The hype train coming through! :apple:

Nice!! I will be off next week and was hoping this, I assume Apple TV is a go, when I see channel for it on there I might squeal like a girl. Nice to finally watch one of these live.:apple:

I have never managed to get Apple's live streams to work on Chrome on Windows. Is the stream even meant to work on Chrome on Windows? I recall system requirements from previous events being OS X or iOS, but there must be a way to get this to work on Windows. Does anybody know?

Only works on Safari. I'm not sure if they expanded it to Safari on Windows, but I know it works on all OS X and iOS devices with Safari, and the Apple TV.

And its not like any artist has ever denied a "leak" before..

Interestingly the newspaper report that quoted a U2 spokesperson saying no involvement with the Apple event was removed. Here's a cache of it. I still have my doubts U2 will be involved (other than maybe performing new material at the event) but perhaps Apple asked the newspaper to take down the link.

So if they were involved, they'd say "yes we are and we'll be there on the 9th"? Lol

No, if they were involved they'd say nothing at all.

Tim can you please delay it by an hour?

I want to watch Come Dine With Me and Dinner Date first.
