Serious question....any significance to Apple streaming this? Was the 5s event streamed?
Hopefully their streaming servers aren't using iOS 8.
I mean 8.0.1
I mean 8.0.2

lol. Apple livestream. I can't wait for Samsung to use what little advertising budget they have left after their budget cuts to pile on.
What the heck do they mean by "It's been way too long"? Are they coming out with a much shorter iPad? It's been too long that we've been stuck at iMac resolution of 2560x1440, but I doubt that's what they mean. It's been way too long since they updated the Mac Mini or the Thunderbolt Display, but I doubt that's it. Maybe, it's been too long that's Steve's been dead & they're bringing him back. IDK. Let's hope they get it right this time.
The iPhone has been way too long. It's originated from the joke of iPhones getting longer and longer when the iPhone 5 was released in 2012. So the iPhone 6 and 6+ will be discontinued in favor of a shorter version with 3:2 screen like the iPhone 4S.

Way back when, they used to live broadcast this stuff (Mac World etc.) via Quicktime and they did a terrific job with it...
