I look forward to it.

Although I looked forward to the iPhone event as well and got screwed.

lol. Apple livestream. I can't wait for Samsung to use what little advertising budget they have left after their budget cuts to pile on.

Serious question....any significance to Apple streaming this? Was the 5s event streamed?

I mean, between OS X Yosemite, Apple Pay, iPad, Macs, and possible :apple:TV and iPad Pro announcements I think it will be interesting.

You may not get blown away, but still interesting.

What the heck do they mean by "It's been way too long"? Are they coming out with a much shorter iPad? It's been too long that we've been stuck at iMac resolution of 2560x1440, but I doubt that's what they mean. It's been way too long since they updated the Mac Mini or the Thunderbolt Display, but I doubt that's it. Maybe, it's been too long that's Steve's been dead & they're bringing him back. IDK. And what's with that graphic anyway? What's it supposed to represent?

The iPhone has been way too long. It's originated from the joke of iPhones getting longer and longer when the iPhone 5 was released in 2012 :D. So the iPhone 6 and 6+ will be discontinued in favor of a shorter version with 3:2 screen like the iPhone 4S. ;)

let's hope they offer other languages besides chinese. i'm hoping for english this time

"English who needs that, i'm never going to England"
-Homer Simpson

Lets just hope they have enough bandwidth so it won't crash every 2 minutes.

It's been way to long…. and Woz walks out on stage….

I hope its not such a train wreck this time...I was home trying to watch it last time.

Way back when, they used to live broadcast this stuff (Mac World etc.) via Quicktime and they did a terrific job with it...remember watching Halo get introduced by Job's at a MacWorld I think...then they stopped shortly after that (never understood that), if memory serves.

So I'm glad to see them trying (at this point) to do it again. They have to broadcast to a much bigger chunk of humanity now, of course, so hopefully their tech is up to it (besides the human caused issues).

I would love a 6S that had a 4" screen and 6 internals..

They haven't streamed every event. They stopped for a while supposedly due to pressure from big business due to employees watching the event during working hours, and make the video available later in the day. But they seem to have ignored that concern recently, which I think is great.

Yah, the issues during the last event had nothing to do with the streaming technology (ie. QuickTime). It was purely a mismanaged setup. I'm pretty confident they won't let that mess happen again. That was a huge black eye for them.
