I am semi new to Apple and not at home with my iMac. Could you remove the Apple Watch icon thru iTunes. Or, would it not even show since not installed.
No, it doesn't. We can hope Apple will change that at some point, but so far it's been that way since the beginning basically, and is still the reality today.Doesn't make it right, though.
Appt scheduled with apple.
That seems a little drastic...I'd restart and if it's still bad, backup and restore.
Damn Another app that can't be deleted. And if you go to Settings, it won't even list the app along with all the others. So they don't want you to see the size of the app. Damn you, Cook.![]()
Looks like they have: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204423Did they fix the security issue that was mentioned before (FREAK) ?
Further to that question I'd like to know if the 4S update to iOS 8.2 gets the iWatch software installed by default?any news on speed improvements for iPhone 4S and iPad 3? Thanks
So far whatever's mentioned in release notes, including security fixes basically. In the meantime also keeping an eye on https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1853474/ for anything else that someone might come across. There doesn't seem to be much fixed? Has anyone found anything of note?
Seems like there are various optimization/stability changes and bug fixes included, in addition to security fixes. So there's that too.iOS8 has already way slowed down my iPhone 5 with all the bugs and 8.2 doesn't seem to do anything about it, plus adding an icon that i can't use, looks like it's time to stop with all the craziness and just leave it alone unless someone on here with an iPhone 5 can prove me wrong.
Why would there be a release with no bug fixes?

I was most concerned about this too, especially for my iPhone 5 which has shown some issues with decreased speed and performance after iOS 8 was first released. I just updated my iPhone 5 from iOS 8.1.3 to iOS 8.2 and have noticed an improvement in overall speed and performance (no decrease in speed/performance at all).
Boy, that's an ugly Apple Watch icon. Why couldn't that be option from the App Store?
Aw well, it when in myfolder.
Seems like quite a few fixes and improvements were mentioned in the release notes, so clearly that's not the case. This one just adds bugs... I mean harmless features.
