ummmm, you start with the 4.3" kickass screen vs the old/tiny 3.5", how's that for a "difference"?
That's rubbish. All of these sites are getting paid or being tricked by Apple spin doctors. I'm all for Apple keeping its products secret but I'm also for critical thinking. If you think they are going to risk halving their stock price with a rerelease of iPhone 4 then it's time for you to buy my Florida swampland.
The fact you'd have more trouble fitting it in your pocket...
As mentioned above, I think this is a load of sh**. As cool as the iPhone 4 was its antenna issues left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. Why model your new new flagship phone after a previous failure. They might have fixed the antenna issue but people will still correlate that flaw with the antenna issues. Apple is smarter than that. MacRumors needs to stop posting every little scrap of info they find on the internet, rumor forum or not just wait 4 hours.
By increasing screen size, the increase volume inside the case of the phone. Shouldn't they increase the size of batteries?
And this is a question I've had for a year or two now...when are they improving batteries? Tech is getting far too power hungry for batteries nowadays and we see the skimping on features like these.
Tired argument is tired.
Not everyone is wearing hipster skinny jeans. 4-4.5" phones fit in standard pockets without a problem.
If that is the case it will be a very dull day, and I am sure this will hurt Apple as many folks held out buying a new phone in hopes that Apple has some new full featured phone up their sleeves. I will stick with my iPhone 4, not worth the headache to sell it and buy a new one only for minor changes.
This will be an Epic Fail if Apple only releases an iPhone 4S![]()
What do you guys think is wrong with the current design that you feel is crucial for Apple to change it?
Is it because of the screen size?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_4 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8K2 Safari/6533.18.5)
I prefer the crisp detailed graphics over the poor pixelated images on the sg2
So outside of updating the OS, what here is revolutionary or special? A curved back?! No one has ever had a phone with a curved back before! Why didn't Apple think of that?! A big screen? I'm pretty sure that there are already phones introduced with screens this size. How long before we have 5.5" or 6" screens and you're carrying around a tablet in your pocket?
Again, tell me what is really NEW outside of the Android 4.0?

S2 is thinner and lighter, Screen size, Super AMOLED Plus display is better than the Retina IMO.![]()
I still can't believe Apple would wait 18 months just for a spec bump. Doesn't make sense, no matter how many rumors I read.

Hey now, I was here during that event (in another form) and that was perhaps the worst of the fail proclamations I have ever witnessed. Of course, I think the phrase "it's just a big iPod Touch" was far more ubiquitous than "fail" (or maybe equal?). Either way, its comical seeing now just how popular it is in sales, although I must admit, I expected more (and what I expected is slowly falling into place).Should read back at the ipad announcement threads and all the cry babies 'Apple FAILLLLLL,' 'worst device ever HAHAHAHA,' 'this is gonna kill apple!!!!!111' etc.. A lot of those accounts don't exist any more. Some of those people on this thread I see. Where's the ipad now? Oh right..
