Dell XPS 15 is getting a lot of mention these days so I thought I should check that out.

My god, what an ugly looking thing. :( The build quality doesn't look nice at all, and then on top of that I would need to run Windows 10. Oy. OSX is such a nicer interface to look at, and if I'm going to be staring at an interface for hours and hours I want it to be something beautiful and refined. OSX has a lot of nice artistic touches. I have to use Windows 10 at work and it is quite an unpleasant experience. It can get stuff done certainly, but for me OSX and the Apple build quality are the reasons I stick with this company. The UNIX underneath is wonderful.
Unless you are describing yourself, your comments on another amazing device is unwarranted .....thanks

I'm definitely describing my own personal opinion. Enough people have expressed really positive reviews that I thought it warranted a closer look. I was not initially impressed with what I saw online. I'm sorry if you were insulted - in fact, your firm defense of it piques my interest further and I think I will make some time to try one in person before making my next buying decision. :)

All they need to do to the Air is update to Retina screen and add USB-C.

I REALLY hope they don't update the keyboard to the plastic-ey/shallow/crap keyboard found on the new Macbooks.
I agree completely. The Magic Keyboard is dark magic, not good magic. The worst keyboard on the planet. It's like typing on a stone table top. Come to think of it, why does Apple insist on including this CrApple keyboard in the iMac as well? I want the old wired short keyboard with backlighted keys. So There!
But Yes! No CrApple Magic keyboard on the Air - PLEASE Apple.
