5.5 inch iPhone

To operate a 5.5 inch iPhone with one hand, surely it could have draggable top corners for the screen, so that the user could drag the input screen size to a comfortable useable size and position for themselves. Just as I can re-size and move the position of an open page in Pages, iTunes, iPhoto ....., why not let the user choose the input (keypad) screen size and position. Bottom right would do me for the larger iPhone that I want.

I don't believe for a second that Apple will ever make a larger iPhone. 4" is at the upper limit of usability for people that have smaller hands.

Actually, on screen size we know exactly what Steve would do. Steve was specific. Hold your iPhone in your hand. Move your thumb across the screen. Can you touch the entire screen without moving it? Steve Jobs stated that an iPhone should never take two hands to operate, nor should it have a stylus.

Of course that was before he would of seen the explosion of larger sized Phones.... the almighty dollar takes all so even $teve would of made the switch (most likely but how would I know... I'm not him and he's dead so we will never know.)

Plus Yes... yes I can easily touch each corner while holding the phone in my hand.

Someone already mentioned he said there wouldn't be a smaller iPad as well..... guess that iPmini is just in our heads. :)

And while he was alive there was not. Steve Jobs died October 5, 2011. The iPad mini was released November 2, 2012. The same with the iPhone 5. It came about after he was dead and gone.
Your statement says it all.... he's dead. Let's move on from what we think Steve may or may not like.

I'm sure apple won't get rid for the 4" phone... still too much money to be made.

Steve was alive when larger phones were coming out. He clearly stated his position on them. Just like his position on the stylus.

I think the problem with Apple having a bigger phone is the back button being at the top left corner which forces the user to reach it.

If they move the back button to the lower left corner, there is no usability issues with the phone being bigger
