Apple to Start Offering iPhone XR as Loaner Device During Lengthier Repairs

XR has bigger screen, FaceID, better battery. I think the SE's (2nd gen) advantage is only A13 vs. XR's A12, but doubtful in day to day usage that would be noticeable.
I wonder what would happen if someone broke the loaner iPhone while their iPhone was getting worked on. 
It is just as easy to drop off your Apple Device and use a credit card to purchase the exact same item and then you have 14 - 30 days to return it for full credit. During the holidays you can keep a device for 2 months then turn it back in. Let's be clear if Apple used better QC this would not need to be done. @MacRumors.com #Macrumors #apple @Apple
Not really, when you pay $1200+ for a phone and it needs repair, you should be getting a loaner of equal or greater value. Any time I would take in my car for maintenance or repair, they would give me a much nicer car as a loaner.
Oops.A veteran MR member should already have a backup phone for emergency / repair purpose.
Anyway, the XR is fine. Some of us are still using it because we don't like contributing to e-waste.
Although that’s unusual, too, saying „if it’s not as mine or better then I don’t want it all“ to me is childish.
