Apple to Stream Live Video of 'iPad Mini' Media Event to Apple TV

Apple, I've been waiting for an iMac and now you want to make me rush to a shop and buy an Apple TV? :D

In all seriousness (!), I CAN HAZ VIDEOSTREEM FUR IMAC AND IOS PLZ KTHXBAI

Bring on the iMacs. The rest is fluff to me. I have a feeling that my 2006 white iMac is going to commit seppuku within an hour since the end of the event.
 
It's nice to see they're bringing back (for good, I hope) the streaming video of the event. I just hope they also provide it via their website as well since I will be at work where I don't have an AppleTV.

No Apple TV here so I'm genuinely ignorant on the matter: does it have/support Bluetooth keyboards at least? I've tried Bing on Xbox 360 when I first got in the beta program and never used it after the first time. Aside from the inconvenience of relatively small font on a big screen far away, it was a nightmare to navigate with the controller, let alone using it to "type" things in.

Perhaps the new Mini will have a renewed Front Row interface and be a smarter Apple TV?

I'm gonna get an Indian on the way home from work too. I think I'll get a madras now.

Unfortunately my girlfriend is getting home from holiday today and so will probably want to hold conversations... there's always something like this that interferes with Apple events. They're my one geeky indulgence, and I wish the world would leave me alone and let me enjoy them.

Hopefully her flight will be delayed. I am a gentleman though, so I'd save her the remnants of my naan bread and a few morsels of rice so that she'd have something to eat after getting the coach, train and then bus back from the airport.
 
I can confirm that it is available here in Norway. So it would seam that (almost) everyone with an apple tv have something to look forward to:D

An anonymous phone call to customs could see her delayed for a few hours, just sayin'............... :)

Wonder if they'll be a repeat via ATV, as I can't see it live?
 
Surely even if apple doesn't, SOMEBODY will capture the apple TV video and rebroadcast it live? If I know anything about the internet it's that somebody somewhere will make that happen for me :)

I have an Apple TV, but I sleep till noon so I guess I'll miss it? Seriously I'm sure it will be available to watch on ATV anytime after 10:00 AM. :)
