Yes, I do, but either way, I was supporting what you were saying albeit sarcastically.

I think the Note 2 was the most innovative device to come out since the iPhone all things considered. It really made the stylus not only useful again, but extremely practical in a device that size.

Oh.... lol. I'm glad you agree and I agree that detecting sarcasm is a bit more difficult on the internets. :)

Woah to much "Phone of the years"

;) adrenaline saturated

----------

With that kind of attitude I imagine they could release the same phone and you'd think this to be true.

they would never do this, and btw, i have a BRAIN (a 3-figure IQ scorer brain)

----------

Uhm. Yeah. I hope to see that day too but I dont think I am gonna live to see it.

lol, it won't take them that long, iphone 6 (if not the iphone 5s) will definitely turn the tables.

----------

Why? Do you own the company? It's hard for me to understand so much excitement. Especially for something that actually is just "a step beyond", not 3 stories, if you know what I mean.

no, i dont own the company and neither do i work for them, it's just that i have been super excited about every upcoming iphone since i've joined the iphone community, but this time it's different, after reading all the rumors, i'm more than super-excited, it's a bit hard to explain but i'm like this, i'm always excited about the next iphone

Its cheap, whether or not your want to admit it. You dont work with it so all your doing is throwing out statements with no merit. Why do you think it is used in many products? Because it is light and cheap. Once again, look it up.

Apple uses the 6000 series Aluminum of the phones and Macbooks. You will find buying in quanities it can be had for $600 a ton, $2600 for five tons, etc... do the math. Im sure Apple buys it in mass quanities. Yes there is a process to the finished product but it isnt as expensive to make as you think. Hec i dont know who their supplier is , and they may even be getting it cheaper than what ive been seeing you can get it for.

I dont like it on phones and tablets because it is too slippery for me. I actually love the back of the Nexus 7 (the first version).
My wifes phone has an aluminum back and i hate it. Had to have my first gen iPhone in a case because it was too slippery. Never again for me!
And i hate to break it to you, the iPhone uses thin sheets of aluminum too. It isnt thicker than what you can buy for the GS3 or GS4.

I love the leather back of our Nexus 7 also. Helps you hold it, provides some insulation, and looks nice.

For paying that kind of money I buy from Apple. If it's defective they will replace it on the spot in the store. MacMall is likely to try to have it fixed.

I hope that the changes would be far more from the 5 to the 5s since Tim is calling the shots now. The Apple consumers are wanting more and better products!

For the 5s & iPad 5: Quadcore, 2 GB of ram, 12MP camera with dual LED, and finger print sensor on top of the other minor upgrades.

13" rMBP: Quadcore i7, I TB SSD/Fusion Drive, 1999 mHz ram to handle 16-32 GB of ram. If this ever happens, I'll be amazed!

True, especially when the person writing the post has mediocre communication skills.

Every phone has its pros and cons. As well as companies and suppliers that makes and produces them. It all boils down to what the company's goals are in terms of their product. One might focus on speed, while the other might focus on stability. You choose what suites you and your needs and wants. It's just funny how a lot of people talk smack about the other. In this case, android folks talking smack about apple folks. I rarely see apple consumers talk garbage about android, but android consumers just won't shut the hell up. If someone is truly happy with what they have, shouldn't they be focusing more on what they have and not with what others have? Well since what they have is better, right? But that doesn't seem to be case. I do like how enthusiastic apple consumers are. Maybe some are somewhat dissapointed because they would want more. Believe me, I am both of those. But if you look at it in a product producers point of view, it's difficult. Imagine coming up with cool and upto-date products in one year. Apple doesn't just cater to phones, mp3s, and tablets. But also laptops and desktops, operating systems for computers and iDevices, other program applications, their own chip, their store, plus they have other events going on too.

No seriously you must be new here if that's the case. If so, then please head on over to the "Alternatives to iOS thread."

Also, if you are new here, you should know that ranting because someone happens to like their device is never a good way to show that posters shouldn't rant because they happen to like their device, especially if you rant on about how you like your device in said post, then rant on about how you think your device is better than others.

You know . . . . pot and kettle and what not.

LOL, that is a joke right? You must not post much in here at all to come to that conclusion because it happens ALL THE TIME in here.

iOS 7 is in really good shape. We are on Beta 5 now & it's getting pretty solid overall. You will love it. And on a new iPhone it will be pure heaven :)

Not on an iphone4 it's not! Buggiest piece o junk I've ever used. Screens freeze, safari crashes, icons often aren't in the right place. It's a mess.

Agree on the space entry. 8 GB's what they need to stop selling like the Nexus 4 has. However , i dont know why we even need to have iPods anymore. I never use mine, i just use my phone. Cant imagine they are selling very well any longer with their high pricetag.

For people that go into iPhones that's true, however, I just upgraded my son from his Android to an iPhone 3GS (which he just loves, best battery life that he's experienced vs Android 2.3) Before that he would carry two devices, his iPod and the Android. He had lot's of apps on his android too, but he preferred using the iPod the majority of the time for the obvious that there were little problems if he ran out of battery on that device, vs his phone.

my daughter who is younger is currently on an android 4.0 phone and occasionally comments on the poor battery though her phone is rated at having an 8hr battery. Again she also uses her iPod to playback music, videos and games. She doesn't want to worry about what kind of app she gets from the google play store (i guess she can't be bothered by it) so she sticks to her iOS experience.

lastly, for corporate use, I have seen many stores, from nordstrom, sears, lowes and at my work are also piloting an iPod app for the areas where an iPad mini is too big and inconvenient. i would be too expensive to get all those users iPhones.

wow, have you been submitting bugreports to apple? can you reproduce the screen freeze or safari crashes? I'm interested because I am unable to re-produce the screen freeze, it seems to happen on it's own, but if I open the photos app and then switch between a few pics, then exit it seems to go away. I can't get any good crash logs to report with, so I am sending the console logs at the moment everytime it happens.

what kind of luck are you getting with troubleshooting?

Id say due Andriod too if you have a newer device. However, I didnt use my iPod when i had any of my A droid phones and i stared using them with Froyo(2.2). Never had Gingerbread (2.3) and hard those sucked. Went from 2.2 to 4.0 and the music played great and i have all my music on my microsd card. Just take it out and put it in another one when i upgrade.

i hope apple has some really big great things in the new iphone, otherwise, i might just switch to something else, you cant always stay with on thing, things need to change, they need to improve, and if that doesn't happens, switch.

Well put, although I disagree with the improvements being difficult due to the number of other products. Many of us want the hardware tech to be more or less up to date, we want the OS to be more or less up to date, but currently that is not the case, the gap is widening. The big thing for the 5S is iOS7, but we all get that

I see that happening, the 5S will validate the reputation that the iPhone is lagging behind

1. Nothing to get new users joining Apple. Not adding new revenues of margin and AppStore./iTunes
2. Will cause some users like me (an annual upgrader) to bypass the purchase, same with bi annual upgraders, reducing revenues
3. Will cause some to shift to Android or Windows Phone, lost revenues (margin and AppStore/iTunes revenues

Should we sell our iPads before the media event or will they have more value after since iOS 7 will most likely not be jailbroken for a while?

Why? Why does everyone want change just for the sake of change? If something is perfect, why do you want it to be drastically altered?

I think it has to do with boredom. People get bored of using the same products day in and day out, and people like to change things up once a while to experience new things and new features...
