Apple to Unveil Wearable Device on September 9 Alongside iPhone 6

When do attendees usually get the invite for the media event? Aren't we cutting it close by now?

Very. It's the old crew from AllThingsD (Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg) who have been Apple's preferred avenue for controlled leaks (alongside Jim Dalrymple).
 
I'm guessing the venue will give us a clue on how big Apple's announcement will be. Or would they announce new phones and a wearable on campus?

Lol I only got that idea because it's what Samsung did with their phone and Smartwatch, they bundled together and cut price by about $50. Be good if Apple did the same.

Maybe they will label it a accessory to go along with the iPhone 6.
 
Is Apple using ReCode as their PR department? There isn't even an official announcement that there is ANY event pertaining to new product from Apple and it's only about a week away.
 
I lurked on here in the years leading up to the iPhone unveiling. My memory isn't the best, but this on again, off again, on again stuff seems mighty familiar. As do the mockups. The iPhone mockups are hilarious when viewed today. I hope and suspect something similar might happen with the iWatch. Guess we may know for sure soon. The iPad also didn't turn out how we expected it to.

Oh,I'm with you!! I hope the have a bundle. It's just when it comes to pricing,apple doesn't care about anyone but apple. Lol... I've never seen a "buy both of these and get" from apple. Lol....I truly hope they did though.

Well, whatever the iWatch looks like it won't look half as good as the mockups we've seen.

Personally, I just think Apple has found a way to rebrand and dump their fledgling inventory of iPod Nano's. And the fanboys will lap 'em up.

Analysts would be like, "iPhone 6, iWatch, Mac Pro 2, and MacBook Pro update to be released 9/1014!"

I'm really looking forward to the 9th September even if its not bundled I would still be interested to see what they have done with the smart watch area. Hopefully something different from what the competition have been doing.
