It's nice to see something come to fruition, though I don't think that wearables are the next iPhone (i.e. they won't be half of Apple's revenue 3 years after introduction). Instead, I see it somewhere in between the iPad and the fading iPod business.
Wearables are fashion accessories more than anything else, and incremental technological improvements won't drive replacements to the same degree as with the iPhone and to a lesser extent iPad. If Apple puts out decent wearable products (not ugly junk like the Galaxy Gear line) I can see a couple years of growth from this, and then a leveling off as it enters maturity.
