They usually stay at the relatively same points, however when the feature sets change drastically that doesn't really mean much.

You should get what you need when you need it and not wait if possible...that;s my strategy anyway!

Well, I'll wait for iMac to see. I hope that cheapes version will also have i5 just like MBP. And I hope the pirce will remain the same.

at this point if you can wait, i think you should. thunderbolt, sandy bridge processors, HD isight cam and a sdxc card slot. thats a fair amount of changes that should come to the new imac.

i mean i know this was all pointed out already but if this holds true then i am thinking about getting rid of my 2008 octo mac pro for one.

yep, I'm wainting for sure. I was thinking to buy Macbook Pro 13'' and some big display (not Apple LED because it is to expensive). But I choosed iMac.

Even this version of iMac has better conf from MAcbook Pro (except of the procesor). So I can't imagine what would it be with new iMac.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

I really hope 1080p target Display mode is supported ... I'm going to buy the new IMac and use it as display for my xbox 360 through kanex xd .... Going to be an awesome summer lol

24" is the Shizzle

It's hard to believe it's been almost three years since my first mac, definitely time for an upgrade as I am using parallels v.6 for Auto-cad inventor and even the 6 GB of RAM is keeping it slow.
I really hope the 24" is re-released. It is the perfect size and plus I have a Samsung Syncmaster 24" display that I don't want to dwarf. :D:D:D
