Ordered 64GB on Monday, Oct 26 at 8:57 am Central time (Texas). Status still says "Preparing for Shipment". Concerned that it's not looking good for me for Friday delivery. Has it offically been announced by Apple that they will be available for purchase in Apple stores on Friday? (I do have a Apple store in the city I live in.)

Same here and I paid for next day shipping. :( No apple store in town here tho.

I paid for next day shipping, too. It seems so random to me as it appears that some that did NOT pay for next day shipping have theirs on the way while some of us are still waiting, even some that paid for next day shipping. I guess that's how it goes sometimes.

I just got a shipment notification. Ordered on Wednesday. It showed Nov 3~5 delivery but shipped today and will deliver tomorrow (Oct 30). I chose free shipping. Carrier is UPS. lol.

Try checking fedex or ups delivery managers, the shipments usually show up there first.

The new Apple TV has yet to be updated with any 3rd party apps or channels. All it currently has is Movies, TV Shows, Settings, Computers. For example, there's no Netflix. I assume they're going to magically show up on the Apple TV tonight or tomorrow. I already have one in my possession.

Seems like paying that extra $17 was worthless.

No signature? That's good as I won't be at home. I'm hoping I can leave a note to say leave around the back of the house.

EDIT: WHEN MINE SHIPS! There's still time today.

Same exact situation for me. Selected free shipping, got notification for delivery tomorrow. If that's true I feel bad for everyone who shelled out $17.99

Sign up for UPS My Choice(for free) and you can choose an option to leave it and tell them where to leave it.

Well after refreshing all day it just now showed up as shipped. Doesn't give a delivery date and the UPS tracking number doesn't work yet. Sounds like good news :)

feels like a huge scam honestly. I am in the same boat as a few of you. 7am PST got in with no issue preordered and I pay $17 extra dollars... No updated info mine is still "PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT"... expected it tomorrow as most of you did for the privilege of paying $17.

I chose this option instead of driving 5 minutes from work to the store tomorrow morning, I paid the $17 for the expectation of door to door service... extremely disappointed so far...

IF it changes today at some point, I will happily admit i was overzealous here on the inter webs... but at this moment, i stand on the frustrated side of the tracks.

A little weird for rural Kentucky compared to some of the recent posts. I ordered a 64GB version at 10:30AM, a 32GB version at 11:05AM. Received the Apple notice that the 32GB was shipping via UPS, but UPS says not a valid tracking number. I'm also attempting their direct website via reference number. But Apple, in the shipped section, still shows 2nd to the 4th for delivery.

No notice for the 64GB version that was ordered first.

Ordered mine (Am in Toronto, Canada) on Monday, states "Preparing for Shipment - Delivers: 2 Nov - 4 Nov by Standard Shipping". I'm not overly worried about it not appearing tomorrow, no option here to apply for faster shipping, and I'm somewhat expecting it to appear on the 2nd. I don't suppose anyone else on here ordered from Canada and is seeing theirs as listed as shipped?

I've seen this before. If you call Apple they can give you the tracking number.

^Thanks, I will.

For those that ordered standard shipping but getting updated delivery dates of tomorrow as a surprise? Are you seeing this tomorrow delivery on the carrier website or on Apple's site? Does anyone have tomorrow from the carrier, but Apple still estimating 2nd-4th?
