Same here. I ordered it with the Remote Loop and the loop is still "processing"...

I can't imagine I will throw my remote through the room, so no Remote loop for me.
Looks like

US gets Nov 2-4 delivery date with standard shipping and Oct 30-Nov 3 date with either next day ($17) or next day before noon ($19) options

Canada gets Nov 2-4 delivery date with standard shipping and NO next day option

UK gets Oct 30-Nov 3 delivery date with standard shipping and NO next day option

I assume the UK has an earlier delivery date estimate due to it's closer proximity to China?

FYI, Europe is bigger than the UK, though they seem to persue to abandon us.

Netherlands : only option I got was standard shipping, delivery Oct 30 - Nov 3.

2 weeks ago, my Magic Mouse/Keyboard/Trackpad got shipped from a local warehouse via UPS. I don't
believe each AppleTV is shipped from China.

Guess they are trying to squeeze extra money from US ppl.

I wonder how many people originally voted that they were buying the 32gb version but instead bought the 64gb version. Would be nice if they went back and changed the vote. Also found it curious that some who bought the 32gb version to save money also got the overnight shipping option. Anyway, I got 2 x 64gb version (full disclosure). 2 of my adult children did the same.
voted 32gb and bought a 32gb, don't think ill use apps that much (well gaming apps I mean)

No charge here yet in the UK. Although there's a £1 pending charge on my credit card. Must be testing it.

No charge on 32Gb yet, Nimbus will be here in half hour! So can have a play on iPad while I wait. :)

For the UK, I very much doubt the charge will happen until the moment the order goes into "Dispatching" status. And as of yet, I am not aware that any orders, US, UK or otherwise have gone out of "Processing" yet. My suspicion is that these have been made some time ago and will already be in local country warehouses ready for shipping. I don't think its quite the same as a new iPhone where they sell as fast as they come off the production line.

yeah UK get charged on dispatched items

You do know you can't use two Siri remotes on same ATV4, right? 3rd party remote or iOS, no problem. Some are ordering extra 'Siri' remotes and those can't be paired with the unit.

(Whoops, wrong thread.. But might as well leave it here in case some don't know about this yet!)

Why's that?
Because you can't. :) You can only pair one with a unit. Other controllers need to be iOS or 3rd party. It's on the Apple ATV4 page and in a iMore article from yesterday. The Siri remote in the store is for replacement purposes only, unfortunately. I would think it could have been stated right there but it's not.

The text from the Siri Remote page:

However, Apple TV can only connect to one remote at a time. If you wish to play multiple player games, you’ll need an iOS device or controller.

Well i just ordered a 32gb model, solely for the fact that I need a Apple TV to stream my iTunes movies and tv shows in my bedroom. I am not fussed about games or apps, and i doubt i will download many Apps. But as for games I will go casual for the time being with Beat Sports, Rayman Adventures and Galaxy on fire on my wishlist.

Furthermore I just cannot justify emptying out my wallet for a 64gb model, especially when Apple always leaves the best for last In this case it is 4K, which will shake the Apple media landscape, and future app store games. The only thing that sucks is that I have to wait till the 3rd of November for mine to ship out, I am not sure if its an Australia thing, but next week seems so far away.

A lot of people thought that when they got their Nintendo Wii's but there were a lot of accidents with broken TV screens and other things. It's better to be safe then sorry.

Not I. I would only consider that for something with mechanical parts or prone to breakage. The Apple tv is just going to sit there and is almost entirely solid state.

Same here. I get AppleCare for my mobile devices like my iPhone, iPad and :apple: Watch which could possibly get damaged but the :apple: TV is stationary with no moving parts so the risk is minimal.
