I believe pre-order means they can not ship it right away and it is a New Product. Not just "out of stock". In this case you place an order for the ATV with overnight shipping but they can not start shipping it that day like a normal order. I personally do not care if you call it pre-order or order but I think that is why they are referring to it as a pre-order.so what distinguishes a pre-order from an order? If the item isn't commercially available at time of order, does that make it a pre-order? The link on the website said 'buy' not 'pre-order'. I figure if it's an iPhone launch and you order like 2 weeks prior to it shipping, I'd say that's a legit pre-order. But the ATV is basically shipping days after the order date.
