According to the tracker map, the UPS truck is a few 100 feet from my house, so I should have mine soon I think.

Just delievered.

About to set it up. Now I have to figure out how I am going to swap the First gen Siri Remote from my ATV4K1 and the 2nd gen Siri Remote on my ATV.

Maybe I will temporily set up IR remotes to control the ATVs, to do the swap. I could use the Remote app on my phone, but I find it to be sometimes unreliable.

I hope it works, as I am unsure if you can even use the 1st gen Siri Remote on the 2022 ATV4K3.

Live in Los Angeles area. Ordered a week ago. Showed shipped yesterday but just label created status still now. Looks like it’s coming by regional courier/delivery service called “Deliver-IT”. I wonder if it’s being carried directly from the local Apple Store at some point today.

Just checked the tracking for mine also coming via Deliver-IT and it also shows label created and package not yet received. Hopefully tracking is just behind and we will still receive ours today. I ordered it about two weeks ago. I am also from the Los Angeles area.

Got mine a couple of hours ago. It's noticeably faster than the previous gen. The remote also seems more responsive. I did a wired speed test and it was faster than before.

Got mine as well. As I have a Samsung TV, I'm interested to see if I can see anything with the new HDR10+ support. Of course, not sure I'll ever know if it's being used since Samsung doesn't really show you those things. But at least Settings->Video shows it knows I have HDR10+!

Of course, I'm now also doing the usual debate of "SDR vs HDR" in the video format settings. I swear half the time the SDR + Match Content wins for me, the other have leave on HDR. :)

ETA: And of course, time to sign into a zillion services yet again!

Mine arrived at 10:30 am (UK) after the dispatch email of 1:30am :)

Still not set it up as having a new kitchen put in and it was the electrician's turn today to mess up my work from home :D

Power all restored now but will get round to installing it tomorrow probably. Interested to see how it works on my Samsung The Frame 2021...not sure that has HDR10+ or not :)

It’s the day after launch here in Australia and they are finally available for same day pick up in store. Such a weird launch.

I have an old 2015 Samsung TV and it only supports HDR10. Will I be missing out on much content that’s HDR10+? What streaming services use that format?

One of my TV’s is a 2017 Samsung 4K (un49ks8000) that I “thought” might have HDR10+. I got the 2022 4K ATV today and tried it. No such luck! Only HDR10! That’s okay…my other 2 TV’s are LG OLED’s…that have Dolby Vision:). The Samsung’s gonna get the oldest 2017 4K ATV:)

I think that Amazon Prime is offering a lot of their HDR content in HDR10+. At least that’s what I’ve read. It’s tricky though….when I search Prime Video for HDR10+ content….everything says just “HDR”. I also heard Apple TV+ is offering some HDR10+ content. Netflix I “think” is only Dolby Vision for their high dynamic range content.

I guess if we had a TV capable of both (Dolby Vision and HDR10+) that would be ideal!

Anyone in Los Angeles, CA area receive their Apple TV 4K being delivered by Deliver-IT? Apple shows it will deliver today 11/4 but tracking for Deliver-IT just says label created and package not yet received. My Deliver-IT deliveries usually arrive in the morning.

Just checked the status and changed to In-Progress and I got a scan at Terminal at 3:52PM (live out in Buena Park/Knotts Berry Farm)which is kinda weird considering its already 4PM and I'm expected to receive this by 8pm with LA Friday traffic?

Mine still says label created. But, you have given me a glimmer of hope that it still may arrive today. I know Apple probably shipped it from Ontario, CA and one of the local hubs for Deliver-IT is in Santa Fe Springs. In Progress normally means it is out for delivery. I ordered the 128gb.

Good to know that there is a local hub near by, I actually never heard of Deliver-IT. Lets hope it comes before 8PM 🤞

Yeah it should arrive by 8PM. The delivery drivers usually come in their own car. I had numerous Apple items delivered by them.

Mine switched to in progress, scanned at terminal at 1:51PM. Have yet to receive.
Also showing "Scanned at terminal" as of 4:17pm by deliver-it. Will be interesting to see if it shows up today, no big deal if it doesn't but I've never had apple miss a delivery day in like a decade so it'd be a first.

Mine still stuck at label created. Hopefully mine gets scanned in soon. I too have never had Apple miss a launch day delivery. If it doesn't show up today hopefully a delivery will be attempted tomorrow Saturday and not have to wait until Monday. Usually when it says In-Progress on Deliver-IT it means the item is out for delivery. They don't usually have an out for delivery scan. So there is hope it will arrive by 8PM tonight.

My Apple TV finally got it's arrival scan at terminal 5:41pm. It's in progress now. Only two more hours to go before it is 8pm.

Watching mine now:)

Picked up mine and setting it up now.

Smaller, lighter and thinner than Gen 1 that I had since 2017.

Navigation is definitely faster and more responsive.

And remote is miles better than the old remote.
