Error somewhere, either on pricing of bundle, current pricing, Peacock plan included in the bundle, or discount percentage as Apple TV $14 + Peacock Premium $11 = $24.

30% off $24 results in $16.80.

33% off $24 is $16.

$15 final price is a decent discount (at about 37%), if it's true that it's the Premium plan.

This is a bit clearer from 9to5... Peacock Premium is not ad free. Premium Plus is ad free. I don't know if 4K is included in the Premium plan or if you need Premium Plus to get 4K.

Apple TV and NBCUniversal today announced a new partnership, where customers in the US will be able to subscribe to a combined Apple TV and Peacock bundle at a discounted price. The $14.99/mo bundle includes Apple TV and Peacock Premium, or you can get Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus (their ad-free tier) for $19.99/mo.

That and Tubi.

Yes! Good call

Between Pluto, Tubi, Youtube (which I pay for) ... I don't even have time for any other services.

In our broader family we have access to YouTubeTV and DirecTV Stream and we use neither for anything other than sports. If they give me too much geo-restriction garbage, I source the sports stream "elsewhere". If it's too difficult or impossible, I just don't care and do something else.

Peacock was good to have if you were a WWE fan. Getting all their PPV (or whatever they call them now) events included was an added bonus for me. Considering getting rid of Peacock once I finish rewatching "Homicide: Life On The Street".

I just got charged today with my family plan subscription I wonder if this will automatically update.

Now that NBC has the NBA again this is attractive to me. I don't really care about Peacock shows though.

I'd need to see final pricing for Apple One subscribers before considering this. But I'm finding a lot of these streamers don't really appeal to me except for new release movies, which is why I cut Peacock and Paramount this past January.

It’s nice that we’ll be able to add Peacock with no ads on to Apple One and save a bit of money, since we already pay for it for things like The Paper and Notre Dame college football, among others.

Edit: apparently it’s through Xfinity now, so we’re not actually paying anything for a bit. Will keep this in mind though.
Xfinity customer here. We pay for it, no free lunch. They buried in their bundle and then wanted us to pay more for sorta ad free. Just not being billed separately for Peacock.

We just use Pluto ... the old school way of bathroom/drink/snack breaks when they do ADs.

It's free and has loads of great content, especially older TV and movies.

Love it!!
I get Peacock with ads free with my Xfinity TV/Internet.
I would only watch the Peanuts stuff on Apple TV.
Apple refuses to make The Roku Channel available on their TV box.
I believe everyone else does.
TV habits are changing with Hallmark going all Christmas.

I am going to go with this. We have Apple TV+ and Peacock so it is a savings for us. We are the people that seemingly have every streaming service + cable still. LOL.

Seems like that's an argument for it not being a rushed decision, since they're not using the new logo.

Also these arrangements take a lot of time for the lawyers to okay - a massive amount of IP that they need to make sure works with both bundled services.
Nah, the announcement is rushed. If I can fix the graphic in 30 seconds, they could do it in 10.

Is there anything good on Apple TV besides Severance? Please don't say The Morning Show or Ted Lasso. Tried a few episodes of Chief of War but it's mediocre at best and works as a sleeping aid.
I thought The Studio was pretty great. But movies, music, art, etc. - it's subjective.
