Mad Men, The Sopranos, The Wire, Oz, Six Feet Under, Boardwalk Empire, Better Call Saul and Dexter are shows that I liked. Just haven't clicked with anything on Apple TV besides Severance, and the first season was a lot better than the second. And that show with Jon Hamm was awful, had to stop after a few episodes.
Honestly you might be better off just getting the HBO app. I personally liked defending Jacob and the Presumed Innocent series on Apple but they are just one season so you can easily watch it all in a month.

I liked Sunny a lot, shame it got cancelled. Home Before Dark was also a really good show.
IMHO, Sunny didn't know what it wanted to be...A scifi show about a robot, a show about the missing husband and kid, a show about the Japanese mafia. They needed to pick a lane, I thought. But Apple has so many good shows and movies. Especially if you are a fan if sci-fi. Just to name a few:

For All Mankind
Slow Horses
Foundation
Presumed Innocent
Murderbot
Your Friends & Neighbors
Stick
Dope Thief
The Gorge (movie)
Silo
See
Greyhound (movie)
Dark Matter
Big Door Prize
Franklin
Sugar
Constellation
Masters of the Air
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
The Morning Show
Pachinko
Surface
Hijack
The Last Frontier (new show)
Shrinking
Loot
Platonic
Bad Monkey
The Studio
Tehran
Drops of God
Prehistoric Planet - one of the best looking shows I've ever seen

Yes, another "cable tv" nightmare. even netflix it's hard to find anything worthwhile after a few good unsolicited, and the unamazing prime charges us to screen absurd ads And for so-called peacock premium "it also removes most ads" hahaha Back to the ol' mute button on the remote as if it's 1990-2005 Kanopy is an interesting service, too. As Jackson Lamb might say, "bollocks"

This is so “not Apple”
What Apple should do, is to create a “TV+” service which lets you watch literally everything from any platform with a higher price than any of the platforms alone.
They could then distribute the revenue to the platforms according to the watch times.

They had a chance to revolutionize the industry like how ipod did for music

Xfinity customer here. We pay for it, no free lunch. They buried in their bundle and then wanted us to pay more for sorta ad free. Just not being billed separately for Peacock.
That’s interesting. Another family member takes care of the bill, so I never see it. Nice to know though.

It’s nice that we’ll be able to add Peacock with no ads on to Apple One and save a bit of money, since we already pay for it for things like The Paper and Notre Dame college football, among others.

Edit: apparently it’s through Xfinity now, so we’re not actually paying anything for a bit. Will keep this in mind though.
with the so called premium plan, they still force-fee-d you ads according to the press release

Is there anything good on Apple TV besides Severance? Please don't say The Morning Show or Ted Lasso. Tried a few episodes of Chief of War but it's mediocre at best and works as a sleeping aid.
Are there any good comments on MR besides @Jumpthesnark? Please don't say @iMac The Knife or @turbineseaplane. Tried a few comments by @CharlesShaw but they were mediocre at best.

I'm pretty sure that the top ten TV shows list on ATV contains what many would consider hits if they were on Netflix where more people would see them.

“Apple announced a new bundle that includes Apple TV, Peacock, HBO Max, Disney+Hulu+ESPN, Netflix, Prime, BritBox, the NFL network and many other services for the price of $115 per month. Apple said this bundle will be called “Apple Cable” and will include a unified program guide to make browsing content easier.”

For any AppleOne subscribers, it does not seem there is an option for an add-on. And I paid for Peacock Plus Premium for a year anyway and there is no way to re-do your subscription or get a prorated refund.

The new plan becomes available on October 20. I'm hoping there are options then.

Read the headline and got excited Peacock was coming into the TV App as an Apple TV Channel. Oh well.

There is something called rights that would make this difficult if not impossible to do.

Aw great - I just renewed Peacock for the year last month! It would be nice to bundle it in Apple One and save a little
