It’s about having their subscription services everywhereWhat on God’s green Earth is going on. What’s next, iOS will be open source or on other devices?! That definitely would be heaven on Earth.
Use movies anywhere to sync your digital film library across the ecosystemMajor disappointment. As others have pointed out, purchased content is a no-go. I have well over 100 movies and TV shows purchased through iTunes/AppleTV over the years and none of them are available. I do have Apple TV+ through Apple One, so the app isn't totally useless, but its utility is a lot less than I had hoped.
apple Music is everywhere and tv plus already on most streaming devices and smart TVs.What's going on is Apple is choosing to boost services revenue. It's always about the money. 💰💰💰
It’s crazy how Apple is always one way or another, you would think they would leverage their dominance in that area but as usual they will squander it like podcasts until some one takes the cake from them and then they will scrambleMajor disappointment. If I can’t view purchase content on it then it’s a no for me, Apple needs to allow content from users library to be viewed other then iPhones, not just for Apple TV+
Yes, they were some of the worst software available on PCs... it was a way "to show" his PCs "would have been superior"... ahah... a lucid dream for him... nothing more...Did Jobs not allow Quicktime, iTunes and Safari on PCs?
True ! Totally forgot about that, just curious why it’s not a feature for other non Apple devicesI have the Apple TV app on my PlayStation five and I can view all my purchased content
It could have to go with platform holders. Sony no longer sells tv and movies in their digital storeTrue ! Totally forgot about that, just curious why it’s not a feature for other non Apple devices
Especially that it has been available on Android based Smart TV platforms for years. Why'd it take so long?
The problem of Apple focus on services is the lack of quality and innovation of software / hardware.
Will Google reciprocate and make AndroidTV available on Apple devices?
I do have MoviesAnywhere, but there are a bunch of studios that don’t participate, such as Paramount or Lionsgate. Plus, MoviesAnywhere only works for movies and not TV shows. I have quite a few TV shows purchased from iTunes Store.Use movies anywhere to sync your digital film library across the ecosystem
So, Apple was the stubborn holdout here. Very bad!Google TV and Android TV apps are already available on Apple devices.
