Wah… I don’t know if I can afford the extra 8.3 cents per day for Apple TV+.
The sky is falling and Apple is being a meanie!
Wahhhhh.

I never stopped. And I worry about the future with shows like Stranger Things how will we be able to watch it 20 years from now? I still watch the original Star Trek.Ugh, screw subscription services. I’m going back to buying movies/tv shows on iTunes…
Apple increased the iCloud+ subscription prices recently https://www.macrumors.com/2023/06/27/apple-hikes-icloud-subscription-prices/No they didn't
Apple One Premier went from $42.95 in Australia to $49.95 just shy of $600 AUD a year. So a $7 a month increase over here. I do see value in it still as I have cancelled Netflix and I do use the features. But anymore increases will be hard to stomach I feel. And that's after it went from £29.95 to £32.95 just this time last year.
Exactly.Wah… I don’t know if I can afford the extra 8.3 cents per day for Apple TV+.

Mocking people for not celebrating a price increase. What a weird flex.Wah… I don’t know if I can afford the extra 8.3 cents per day for Apple TV+.

And they changed the story from “a white guy” to racial guy. 😂Budget for “killers of the flower moon” is estimated at $200 Million 🤷🏻♂️
Do you only read the headlines? What ads? I've never seen any.
Only reads the headlines? There are numerous ads in the app. Not sure why you haven’t seen them.
Yes, in a vacuum this wouldn't be too much of an increase for most users. The problem is it isn't a vacuum. Just about every company is turning their products in to subscription services, and the cumulative costs of such services add up quickly.Wah… I don’t know if I can afford the extra 8.3 cents per day for Apple TV+.

You're a perfect example of why this stuff is allowed to continue. It doesn't matter if it's only an extra 8.3 cents per day. It's the principle. Does this price increase cause anything to be tighter for me, money wise? Luckily no. Not even close. Doesn't impact anything else. But I AM getting sick and tired of prices being raised on everything with no additional value being placed into it. It's pretty tone-deaf for streaming companies, for example, to increase prices right now, considering the writers were on strike for so long and the frigging actors are still out. These companies are wanting more and more money out of us, but we aren't seeing a comparable increase in the value for it.Wah… I don’t know if I can afford the extra 8.3 cents per day for Apple TV+.

Not unless they overhaul that awful app. Probably the worst app Apple makes, on all the platforms.I feel like Apple TV+ is worth it, but $12.99 for news?!
Still not worth paying for cable. I'd rather still have the option to piecemeal my content. Cancel as needed for each. All of these services REALLY want me to go back to old school cable don’t they. This is getting ridiculous.
That's why I still value physical media. And if LIked the film/show enough I'll purchase it on 4KBluray or Bluray if it's not available. It's way too easy to be denied access. Either by censorship or price hikes to services.I never stopped. And I worry about the future with shows like Stranger Things how will we be able to watch it 20 years from now? I still watch the original Star Trek.
The classic definition of inflation. Welcome to our world. But I AM getting sick and tired of prices being raised on everything with no additional value being placed into it.
I'm well aware. Doesn't mean I can't complain about it. Really wish my pay would inflate 😂The classic definition of inflation. Welcome to our world.
Just looked to try. Apple already changed the yearly but not the monthly. Guess they caught on quickly. My Apple TV+ subscription is due to end mid Jan. I went into the 'Subscriptions' section in iOS and saw that I could select the annual renewal of $69 so I chose that.
Now seeing
Here's hoping that works!
