So, a company that made $23 Billion Profit on $89.5B Revenue (Apple Reports 4Q 2023 Results) needs to increase their subscription prices? Okay, got it. Someone has to fund the lifestyles of the executives.
Wall Street doesn't care what you made before, they care what you'll make going forward and that's Apple's biggest motivating factor as a publicly shared company.

Those price increases are insane. Hopefully they won't touch Apple Music again, if not I'll have to move to Spotify.

Which is why Apple should want to push more people towards the bundle, I bet the majority pay for services they don't use. If Apple One remained the same price, I guarantee there'd be people upgrading to it.
Agreed! I cancelled Apple One the last time they increased the prices of Apple Music and Apple TV+. I would have stayed if Apple One didn't increase. They lost me forever. And next time they increase Apple Music, I'll consider moving to another service.

I agree, but even then, it's apple's product and they can price it however they want.

It's our personal choice to say whether that increase in price is worth it to us. And it isn't for me, not enough value, so I cancelled news, arcade, and TV. (I cancelled TV and arcade a long time ago, they were never worth it to me)

To each their own.

Apple is free to price their services as they deem fit, just as you are each free to vote with your wallets.

I simply don’t understand the logic around here that just because Apple makes a ton of money on hardware, they are somehow obligated to subsidise their other services and software and give them out for free. Free iCloud storage. Zero App Store fees. And now apparently, cheap TV.

It just feels like a very strong sense of entitlement.

43% price hike and no improvement to the service. If you are fine with that you are probably also fine if Tesla removes the forth wheel while keeping the price the same.

I find it nothing short of annoying Apple News/Apple News+ is only available on Apple products.
In addition, it is not on Apple TV.
I would like to have an Android app and Windows too, in that order.
Why not make it a subset of the Apple TV app, like the one i have on Roku?
