She is in the top .01 percent of artists being listened to on Spotify. I'm not surprised at all she drew a crowd to her special. Good on Apple's curators again. For the most part they've done a wonderful job this past year.

Between this and the Mariah Carey special, it seems like Apple TV+'s biggest draw is its music endeavors. While I'm happy that more people subscribed to the service, I hope they don't overload it with just those types of content. I hope these new subscribers actually watch their original shows.

I'm a few months from that milestone myself. I find that her brother has produced great music and find her style of singing fresh and different. My kids listen to her so I do hear it quite a bit.

You just know a good voice when you hear one. And she’s got it. And her brother is also talented, there is no denying their talent.

I just can’t get into the songs much, I listen and tend to give up half way.

Oh I get that -- for me you're describing country music. I won't tell anyone there's any lack of talent... I just can't do it. Except for Jolene and Weed With Willie.

Why don’t you give her a listen then??? You’re only going to know why?, if you do that. Listen to her Album “When we all fall asleep, Where do we go?” It’s made by her when she was only 15 year old... BUT sounds like a dream... from an extraordinary talented mature artist! You may not like the genre, but one surely must accept her exceptional talent! If you dig deeper into her history, it’s no wonder why especially young people love her. Then again, I’m 46 and I’m crazy about her! It’s just really good music with a truly special atmosphere.
Trust me. It was NOT "made by her" Her brother did everything. Music, writing and I'm sure a lot of babysitting. I believe that without her brother, Billie Ellish would be working the mid shift at McDonalds.

I have yet to see this documentary but I am looking forward to it from both a producers mindset and creative inspiration.

If you are high, you can definitely enjoy Billie...I'm in my early 30's (barely a boomer) and I usually switch the radio station or turn off the TV when she starts signing her songs. Not my style even though I like to listen everything from classic and opera to modern trap. She appears to be influenced by Lana del Rey, which is far superior signer.

Good voice doesnt mean anything. You may have the pretties voice in the world that makes peoples heart melt but if you dont use it right to sing something beautiful, it is useless.

Cant wait for all the “who is he?” And “her music is terrible” comments about to appear by people who don’t know or listen to new music. 🤣

for the record, Billie Eillish is awesome.

given your logic, nothing is free, even when it is, because there is an inherent cost to anything?
Not really my point. Apple TV+ is used to promote hardware products that cost you money. When you use your free gmail account for example, or google search it doesnt cost you anything directly or indirectly, so there is a slight difference. The cost of having this "free" Apple TV+ is built-in in the cost of a hardware product, either iPhone, iPad, Mac or compatible TV.
