My Mac apps are already squircular—will Alan Dye’s successor Stephen Lemay bring old-style apps back?

Cancel Liquid Glass?

Did he remove the launchpad button from the keyboard and also remove the launchpad in macOS 26?

I’m not a fan of either.

If the exodus of Apple employees to Meta continues Ol’ Zuck is going to have to adopt a new “fruitier” company logo.

I don't hate liquid glass, but ever since the first beta I was like "are they gonna tweak this or..." I currently have the frosted option turned on my Mac mini and iPhone since it's more readable.

About right. After so much Apple-related drama, I was ready for tasteful refinement, but not another round of internal overzealousness from which there seemed no subsequent step but to dial back after a minimum of a year.

Dang that sucks. I liked his designs. Also, it seems like Meta is slowly taking everyone at Apple.

And we feel like victims of a massive hit and run. I hope Apple will recover from recent UI disasters in the coming years. But I don't think they will.

Damn, so many haters lol Liquid Glass looks so beautiful and 'lickable' like Steve Jobs wanted Aqua to be back in like 2001. Legibility needs some tweaks in some places but still. Anyway, people rotate through companies, new people = new ideas!
