Guess I'll be keeping my SS Series 6 for another year. Oh well, on to the iPhone 13 Pro news...

STARLIGHT COLOR. This is amazing as it makes me not need to buy Stainless Steel or Titanium.

But now if they ever release Starlight in any model besides the aluminum I’ll have no choice but to buy!!

Seriously… Starlight color. Fantastic.

Or the rumored production issues where more serieus than previously thought and they had to resort to the old casing in a kinda last minute way, I mean this wasn't just a Prosser leak, everybody said flat edges.
My comment on that is no Way. They didn’t revert to old design, while changing the screen size and case a bit, and probably some internals. This was dis-information, from possible suppliers, to third party accesoriy makers to even apparently the developer community who I don’t think have this exact screen size/resolution spec.

But, but, Jon Prosser said...

The case doesn't look very flat to me.
I mentioned it in another thread: A Rolex looks like a Rolex. The design is kind of iconic. It has been slightly changed in time, keeping the looks of a Rolex (the models we identify as "Rolex" then...)
Now replace "Rolex" by "Apple Watch"...

Apple just did it the right way.

Could you maybe take your phone with you for the GPS signal, I find having my phone I have no problem at all with 5-6 hour rides or hikes using my Apple Watch, but having the phone GPS provide the signal. If I am deep in the Sierras, I turn off the Cellular radio to save even more power.
yes, that could happen. but more to the point, I don't want my phone with me, just more gadgets to deal with. same for longer runs, hikes, cross country skiing, etc. for longer endurance activities, Apple Watch misses the mark. Garmin, suunto, blah blah many others with GPS battery life lasting 20+ hours is the way to go.

I'll buy one, but isn't as big an update as I expected. Was hoping for some new sensors too. I would figure they would have put a thermometer in there by now.

I still think the „flat“ design would work for a watch. There are already a lot people complaining about the flat and „sharp“ edges of the iPhone 12 series…
