I personally did not like the squared design. I thought it diminished the timepiece look of the Apple Watch. The flat design renderings looked very "tech on your wrist" imo.

I accept the new watch. Will be upgrading my Series 4. The fact that everyone got it wrong is truly hilarious.

Was hoping they would go with the more "industrial" iPad Pro style design that was rumored on these. Honestly a little disappointed that it looks so similar to the current series. Seems more like of an incremental update.
As it’s supposed to be strapped on a wrist, I hated the rumours of iPad Pro design. And I love my iPad Pro

So, old bands are compatible with S7, but what about the other way round? Will new bands still work on my S6?

Available later this fall? I guess they are having production issues. I was planning on getting the 7 for my first Watch but after this nothingburger I might just get the 6.
I was underwhelmed. The bigger watch face is nice and the improved battery life, but nothing new in the health apps. I want an apple watch, so I'm not going to wait and going ahead with buying a S6.

It measures my serve speed. Buying it. Dunno if the order ones did that but I’ve just learnt that now, so I’m buying it.

If they'd throw the sapphire glass on the aluminum body, I'd probably be in for one this year. Still using a SS series 3 namely due to the amazing scratch resistance on the screen. The case I couldn't car less about. Not willing to pay the premium for stainless though.

I think the watch, in fact, the whole event can be classed as "Underwhelming".

I mean 7 generations in and still advertising 18 hours battery.. Appreciate the faster charging but it's still poor for this point in time.

Apple was CLEARLY behind a mis/dis information campaign about what this new device would look like. They are still the master.
While this certainly seems to be the case, I do wonder if it will actually benefit Apple all.

Basically, Apple is saying “Haha…got ya, we released another iterative version of the Apple Watch as opposed to the sleeker, flatter design many people were looking forward to.” On one hand, it’s funny to see leakers get it wrong, but it’s not like Apple released a better, more compelling product instead. I’d say that (strangely) both the leakers AND Apple look worse after this Apple Watch update.

Yeah exactly! The squared design looked nice in renders, but I never though it would be comfortable.

and agreed about the leakers getting it wrong, Prosser has been getting more wrong than right this year

My OG Series 3 is 4 years old, so while a more substantial Series 7 design would’ve been nice, I’ll definitely be upgrading as soon as I can.
