Also, no new releases from Apple until the FAll!!! Thats four months away. When did this ever happen in the past? The new IOS and MacPro should have been released yesterday as thats how Apple worked in the past.
A past in which there were lots of hits and misses. Some misses that come to mind are the original MobileMe, Maps and Leopard (the initial release was a bug factory). Maps was so bad that Cook had to write a public apology – that was probably the last time ever that he let anything out the door without double-, triple- and quadruple-checking that the product was of Apple quality. There are millions of people out there eager to pounce on any slip-up and label it XXXXXX-gate.

It was the WWDC, so I wasn't expecting any 'lifestyle' releases like an iWatch or an Apple TV set. They'll probably cram that into the usual iPod/back-to-school event. As for potential iMac and/or MBP spec bumps, those often occur semi-quietly without any big stage event...

iOS 7 vs Android article I thought was pretty funny. Just reading all the Android users bashing Apple in the comments was a good laugh.

http://phandroid.com/2013/06/10/ios7-vs-android/

To me it's not about who "steals" who's feature. It's who implements it best and I think Apple far surpasses Android and Windows Phone in implementing it's features the best.

I also found the last sentence here interesting. http://phandroid.com/2013/06/10/apple-vs-androi/

"Could it be because Android is already so far ahead, Google doesn’t have the time to look behind at iOS? Sounds about right to us."

If Android is so far ahead then why does Apple have 93% install base vs any Android OS??

Man that article was sickening to read. Like a bunch of children gloating. I repeat again I'm glad I left android and will never look back. The community is so immature.

All companies take cues from each other. If those fandroids think Google hasn't copied apple, they're in denial. Ditto the other way around

Once I started playing with other phones I changed my tune and now I really enjoy larger screens.

I have the 4s and can definitely tell the difference when I use my wife's 5. It feels huge (in part because she has it in one of those tactical otter boxes) but also makes lots of activities easier. I'm upgrading at the next refresh and will probably look back on my tiny screen and laugh at how cramped everything was.

Tbf, it's an android forum, did you expect anything less? :D

This forum can be as bias as any other forum, but I do like what I see with ios7.

I am soooo bored with ios6, and ios7 makes me even more bored with it.;)

Roll on this Fall.

Agreed. I'll be honest. I've never used an Android or Windows Phone or Blackberry so I may come across a bit biased. I've always been pro Apple. But again it's not who "steals" what. It's who implements it the best. I've watched reviews of the other OS's but iOS still comes out on top for me.

Agreed. Fall can't come soon enough. I just wonder how my iPhone 4S will handle iOS 7 vs iPhone 5 or "5S". Mainly cause of the different screen size. I like how iOS 7 looks on the iPhone 5 but I get the feeling it might feel a bit cramped on the 4 and 4S.

Like I said. It's not who does it first or who "steals" what. It's who implements it the best. And I still believe Apple wins on that one.

How someone can say that a company is the one that has implemented all the things better when that someone has not used anything besides that same company?

Maybe this has been brought up in earlier posts (didn't read all 1k of them) but why does it matter if Android had a feature before Apple?

If they both have that feature now, they're even in that regard. Why would that be a benefit that a certain platform had it longer?

Fair call. But I certainly don't have the money or need for multiple phone plans to try them all out for long periods of time. Going into a cell phone store to try one out for a few minutes is not the same as using it for a few months or a year and going in-depth with the device and OS.

Besides that how does an Android or Windows phone interact with the Mac for syncing apps and content? I'm already entrenched in the Mac ecosystem anyway. Why would I confuse things by going with a phone other then iPhone. I've held other phones in my hand and none feel as solid and high quality as the iPhone.

What else could they say? It's the same thing that happened with lte, they swore up and down that it was ridiculous not to have it in this day and age and then started making up excuses for the nexus. 4 and also said apple finally caught up.

If you read the posted article's comments you'll quickly understand that the Android users who post on android fan sites are not the sharpest tools in the shed.

How can you say Apple implements it better and you don't even have it yet...lol??

I find it hilarious that people are whining over similarities between the design of iOS 7 and Android

...

Did you all miss what happened to the ENTIRE smart phone market when the iPhone came out?

Or after jailbreaking led to the AppStore?

The same could be said about posters here.

Perhaps taking the "high" road is better. And instead of mocking them, blogging about them, google+'ing about them, one should instead just be happy with what they've chosen to use themselves. It comes off as desperate when someone does that - doesn't it? As if someone like that just can't let go....

My amusement is Apple is just so damn stubborn and wants to put a creative spin on basically the same thing that's already been introduced. Since they are innovators of anything, they refuse to accept and embrace what works. Micro USB, oh no...lightening. NFC, oh no...Air Drop..large screen, oh...narrow long is better. just to name a few. It's annoying, because the company has the capital to blow all other out the water yet they don't. Their devices are dead gorgeous

Flat, eh? A blast from the past...

Read "The Painted Word" by Tom Wolfe. It discusses the time the flat fad hit the world of modern art. Like all fads, it burned out after a while.

And btw iOS has one serious deficiency that Android does not. There is only one version of every app in the App Store, so if you don't upgrade, you gradually lose your apps as they require ever-newer versions of iOS. I have an iphone 3G, I bought the Sims 3 for it, and now I can't reinstall it. Eventually the iphone 3G will not be able to run anything. By contrast Android 2 phones can still run nearly any app. This is by design of course, Apple wants you to buy the latest and doesn't want you running older hardware at all. From a user standpoint, tho, it stinks.
