Considering past A-chips with more graphics cores were called A#x. Maybe they should've designated that by calling the Pro's chip A15x or A15Pro ?

Having 1 fewer/more GPU core makes almost no difference in performance. Look at the M1 benchmarks of the MacBook Air. It's purely marketing.

the phones are on a solid only-need-to-update-every-two-years position at this point. didn't get the iPhone 12 Pro, will go in on the 13 pro for sure
I don’t understand. No touch ID or always on display, even on the Pro models? I’m looking for features that actually improve and make my life easier everyday. I may have to consider the Pixel 6 this year.

The animation of the notch getting smaller made me laugh. It was so subtle but they made it look like a huge improvement lol

Looking at their hype screen, I saw "Water Resistant". Huh? I think the iPhone 8 was water resistant. Tell me it is still water proof.
Noticed that also - very surprising. Seems a little crowded to have iPhone 11 / 12 / 13 all in the active lineup. I guess the profit margins are good enough on the older models that it's worthwhile for them to keep them.
but apple reduce battery from 11 to 12 only to increase it back.. I guess if you are gonna gloss over that then YAY it is a great improvement

No matte black, I was looking forward to that.
And I much prefer the 12 Pro Blue to this one.
So pro ... and yet still no USB-C on iPhone. 😂

Not sure I can justify the upgrade from my 12 Pro. I will wait and see what deals are being offered. I really just want the 120 Hz display and the better battery life.
So I guess this is what happens when people work from home. Most boring upgrade I've seen in years.
