Apple Unveils macOS 'Sierra' With New Continuity Features, Window Tabs, Apple Watch Login, Siri, and More

Haha RAID is back.

I'm guessing the graphics chip - the 2009 MacBook has GeForce 320M, the 2009 MacBook Pro (which came out earlier in 2009) has GeForce 9400M, where the 2010 MacBook Pro has 320M.

Note that SOME 2009 MacBook Pros have better graphics, but they're still 9000-series. GPU cutoffs seem common to Apple. I'm disappointed that my 2008 Aluminum MacBook is left out (also has GeForce 9400M.)

All 2009 MacBooks have 9400M graphics. As well as the late 2008 Aluminum Unibody MacBook, 2009 13" MacBook Pro or late 2008 15" Unibody MacBook Pro (which has an additional 9600M GT).

No Mac was equipped with 3xxM series GPU until mid 2010.

As is, the range of models supported by Sierra just doesn't make any sense.

It's really sad that the "most advanced OS in the world" ofers just this. They are good things but not worthy an annual release. Nothing that pro users can take advantage of. Just funny toys.

to be fair, at coming up 9 years old, its had a good run. I'm yet to see a 3 year old PC laptop where the plastic keys haven't fallen off and doesn't need leaving plugged in all the time because the battery has died a death and the replacement ones cost more than the current value of the machine.
There are many great PC Laptops out there. Some of them have lasted for over 10 years. The most important thing is to stay away from HP and such manifactures.
