it must depend on where you live. I am based in Bristol, UK. We get a lot of rain, as well as a lot of weather changes in one day. It can literally go from Very warm to heavy rain very quickly. Dark Sky is the most accurate App by far. Literally we can have washing drying outside in the sun, I get a rain notification on the watch by the time we get the washing in it starts raining almost every time.

Thanks for that - not too, too far from you but even more coastal, and I find most weather forecasts are poor. For the near future, as in the next few hours, looking out of the window is often better. And, when you compare two, e.g. current IOS Weather Channel-based app and Met Office, they frequently disagree significantly.

Had been thinking of stumping up for it, but not if it is getting rolled into IOS15 or disappearing in the planned future.

It looks like the newest version of weather in iOS 15 might be pulling in a lot of these features.
Except there's still no Weather app in iPadOS 15, AFAIK. Dark Sky does work on the iPad, but not after 2022, so I hope that changes.

I mainly use Dark Sky to find out how long it will rain. For me, it's always been surprisingly accurate for that.

Try AccuWeather for weather precipitation information. More accurate as well.
