I think it's already awesome (especially considering the absurd pricing) but these enhancements would make it perfect! Especially the ability to edit small mistakes would be wonderful.
Not sure about Bieber but Gaga has music talent. Her gimmick sells and I don't care for it but she does play the piano and songwrite
Nope. You're thinking of iMovie which is only iPad 2. Garageband was always both iPads.
I suspect that the one thing I wish they would do isn't there. And that's exporting from Garageband to your actual iTunes library. Rather than just to the iTunes file syncing. I tried to score a short I was editing on my iPad in iMovie with some tracks from Garageband on the iPad and it annoyed me that I had to sync the song to a computer to put it in iTunes to put it back to use it in iMovie (which can't read from the syncing area)

I was just pointing out to the poster that she does have talent. Her antics are another topic.
Sometimes being a great musician isn't enough, sometimes you got to have a gimic to get noticed. Gaga to me isn't tops in looks and the music industry being the way it is she needed something to separate her from the others. There are a lot of talented people out there that never got a chance.

This is seriously awesome news. Is there a way to create drum beats with that on screen keyboard like in the full version? That's what I'd really like to do, but on the iMac you can only click on one key at a time, with a mouse Much easier on an iPhone. But really only useful if you can import to your desktop... Hm..
