Just a wild idea ... what about renaming it to OSX and not calling it OS 10. I have always called it OS X like the letter not the number. I know it's technical wrong but I don't really care either

For the dark theme, my guess is a dark mode XCode. I am reaching here, but maybe XCode for iPad ? I know they said they won't do it.

Nah, I've always called it "OS Ten" and called its IDE "TenCode".
(Kidding about "TenCode".) I wouldn't mind calling it "OS X" except that so many really bad things are already "X", like DivX, Tesla Model X, and Xfinity.
