So the weather channel extension, it says I can see current weather and temp, but all I see is a big sqaure box. But when I click on it it goes to straight to the website. Am I doing something wrong?

It's only working about 80% of the time for me too. If you go to the Extension Preferences, you have to insert your zip code and relaunch. Still, it's not working 100% of the time for me. Probably going to uninstall or turn off the extension myself.

They spelled "Fahrenheit" incorrectly in the preferences. You'd think a weather source would know.

A Cleaner YouTube: Awesome! Only thing is I wish it supported Subscriptions. I can't use it until they update it so hopefully that is implemented soon.

Exposer: Really cool. I removed the menu item and just rely on the Option + T shortcut to access it. Very sweet.

Little Snapper: Works great with LittleSnapper for Mac.

Add to Google Reader: Ingeniously uses Safari's own RSS button to add a subscription to your Google Reader account.

Great Day 1 content so far. It is limited, yet I wonder how often Apple will approve new extensions?

A Cleaner YouTube does support subscriptions. Click the arrow next to your YouTube username and click Subscriptions.

Tabs on Top

For the love of God, why won't Apple bring back Tabs on Top like the Safari 4 Beta? I loved that implementation... just ****ing make it an option or extension already...

I know that - I meant NEW Subscription videos from the main window. All it shows me is the Most Popular series.

Some great extensions there

Reload Button - never got used to Reload being at the right hand end of the address bar

Amazon Search Bar - very useful

Better Facebook - finally, FB starts to make sense to me :p

Awesome Screenshot - this is gonna be useful

Exposer - I use Exposé all the time so this is a great extension

Safari Restore - something Firefox has always been able to do at start-up

One thing about Exposer; if you use it but select another tab by clicking on the tab itself, rather than the Exposer tile, Safari switches to it but leaves the Exposer tiles displayed in the original tab so if you click the Exposer button again it appears not to work.

I'm disgusted that Apple releases Safari 5+ for Windows XP but my Mac, with it's newer Tiger OS, is only given 4+. I wouldn't have thought anything of their exclusion of Safari 5 on Tiger macs if they hadn't supported old Windows versions. Awful.

I use to have Glims installed before Safari 5, how else can I get NavIcons back?

They're essential for quickly seeing what the tab is without reading page titles.

One Extension i'd like to see ported to Safari is EXIF Viewer for Firefox. Right-click on a photo and it displays the EXIF data for it (if it hasn't been stripped).

Edit: just had another look and there is one - EXIF Ext :D

SafariRestore is kind of janky for me. The interface is annoying.

Sessions is far better.

Nice. Some extensions I find useful:

Duplicate Tab Button
TabLinks (the copy function via command+c doesn't work though)
Ultimate Status Bar
Exposer (A little bit slow)

I have found several extensions that don't work right, or just don't work at all.

For example:
Coda Notes
MeasureIt
Awesome Screenshot

AdBlocker works great!

I loves me some updates!
:D
I installed the Safari AdBlocker. Let's hope it works.

I tested Safari AdBlocker on a couple of web sites, and found all the (annoying blinking and flashing) ads blocked. Might even consider to switch back from FireFox to Safari as my main web browser (and donate a few bucks to the developer of AdBlock). :)

Fix Safari

How about they freaking fix Safari, before adding new things. I've been using 3 browsers to compare and Camino along with Opera work well with minor annoyances. On the other hand I don't know what the hell Safari is doing but I'll always get random disconnects within the browser even though I have a strong signal.

I've installed the Exposer extension, but it doesn't appear to do anything??

How do I get it to show me previews of my tabs?

Open some tabs and then click the little box with four squares in it next to the left and right arrows near the top of your window.

AdBlock does work great. I think it's a must have and makes viewing pages so much better.

I really, really, really don't like Ads. :(

I would like to see a Safari extension to manage cookies and allow me to block cookies from certain domains, allow cookies from certain domains, or allow cookies until end of session.
