Apple Updates WWDC App for 2014 with iOS 7 Design and New Orange Theme

Anyone else also recognize the names of the rooms where the talks/labs/etc are being held? All names of San Francisco neighborhoods...and the theme color for this years WWDC app is orange...like the Golden Gate...

I think last year they just said "Session to be Announced". Nice to see Apple with a sense of humor. Also nice to see that they have secrets to announce.

I'm wondering if :apple: have done this with the names to stir it up, it would be good if they announced something tho, maybe something we weren't expecting :D altho i'm still excited for the Healthbook app in ios8 :D

I LOL'd. That's probably exactly what happened, though I don't imagine they bothered Tim with such an unimportant matter. Somebody in the team probably figured it out themselves.

Seriously? Great design is not completely changing everything just to change it. Great design is refinement toward an ideal. What exactly do you want Apple to do, make an iPhone that's a circle?

SD cards... why? I don't know anyone with that capability who actually uses it. NFC... why? Again, same thing, nobody uses NFC.
 
I'm hoping the surprise will iphone 6 reveal. But it most likely won't happened . But an ios8 reveal would suffice.
 
I know this is subjective, but why do they pick the ugliest color schemes and such? Who thinks that color looks good? You might not think it's ugly but... IDK. I just wonder about insider decisions sometimes. Like the original iPhone tones for example. Not many people want a dog barking, a cricket chirping, a horn blowing, or robot jabber. Idk... Then you have WhiteOS 7. I don't expect everything to be vibrant and rainbow-like but sometimes I feel like the design team is sub-par. Could I create an operating system that pleases every person who owns the device? Of course not... but you get what I'm saying.

Wow, lots of jabber here. Sorry about the numerous, unrelated, and random opinions. :p

We've gone over this.

I do think it is funny that people who are against Apple calling OS X names after local or California landmarks. Why? The programmers live in California. Northern California especially is very beautiful and there is a lot to be inspired from. Why not name your projects after those places or things that inspire you?
 
One part of the app said, "We only issue one conference tag. Please take care of yours."

Love to know if anyone is hiring street pickpockets to rip off tags near Moscone? What would the street price be?

I love it! Sure does indicates this should be a very interesting WWDC this year. Can't wait to see!
