sounds like you can enroll online but if you are already part of the program you have to reserve and pick up in store....which is BS. I guess if you are currently part of AUP you could sell your phone and pay off the balance of 6s/6s plus and go that direction if you don't want to go to the store on launch day.

The IUP (AUP)...whatever it is.....can be done online for NEW customers. I confirmed this with Apple. If you were part of the program last year and want to upgrade, then you have to make the reservation to pick-up in store. That's because they have to check your iPhone that you are returning.

I signed up for the IUP last year but paid off the loan and sold the phone. So this year I am starting over.....therefore it can be done online.

How did you pay off the loan? I'm looking at my account right now on citizens and don't see the option. Did you have to call them?

when i try to log in. it asks me to change the password and when i put in new password it gives me xml error.

What happened? Did you get it sorted out. I am in the same boat as my iPhone was replaced under apple care.

Same issue, spent four hours on phone with apple today, like 12 different reps, they couldn't figure it out for me.

I ended up having a rep give me my old iPhone serial and IMEI numbers and she told me to use those. So that's what I just did when ordering this morning. But wow, I can't believe how completely off base their reps are about how this program works. I had multiple people tell me that I can do the upgrade program online and there will even be an option at checkout to have a return mail label sent with the new iPhone so I could mail in my old one. What a bunch of crap. They were literally just telling me random B.S. so I'd get off the phone or IDK what. I've never had such a horrible experience with Apple on the phone. Usually they're great. And now I'm super pissed because I can't find a way to buy a damn iPhone 7 unlocked as a gift for my grandpa without putting in a bunch of billing passwords for my own Verizon account. I mean really?
