I had one for almost two weeks, using it a few hours a day. It's too heavy. Yes, I tried the different strap. I was adjusting the straps constantly. I returned it. I'm really looking forward to a 2nd gen. It seemed to fit great and was comfortable and unnoticeable for 20 minutes, then I would get fidgety, after an hour it was uncomfortable and distracting to where I thought if I can't comfortably watch a movie or use it for even 2h, it's not worth my money. Obviously YMMV.

Not a AVP user but same issue for me. Playing games is fine since you are distracted but as soon as I try to lay down and just consume like a movie, all my attention moves to that thing on my face and I can’t wait for it to just be over so I can take it off. I end up constantly making adjustments for parts of my skin to breathe or to put a little pressure off my cheeks. I think the longest I could do was a 1h 20 min movie. It’s also a shame cuz I LOVE the huge virtual screen in a virtual imax theater

My only complaint is my eye lenses are locked focussing at a constant distance while wearing. Everything is shown on the OLED displays at the same focal distance. Yes, parallax gives the illusion of 3D, but focussing never changes, no matter where one looks.

I have that with the PSVR gen 1.
After about half an hour it starts to become uncomfortable. And weirdly, when I take it off I’m usually super thirsty. Let alone, that weird disconnect of being back in real reality rather than virtual reality.

Black eyes? That seems like a gigantic stretch, and the sort of thing that the 1 lb AVP could not do if fitted properly.

Has anyone checked if her significant other has a history of abuse? Jk, but seriously, I have trouble believing this happened from AVP use, at least with proper use and fitting.

Of course, it is uncomfortable with those stupid headbands. I own a Quest 3 and I cannot stand wearing the default head-strap for more than 15 minutes. After I replaced it with a better third party head-strap that has an external battery on the back as a counter weight I could finally wear it for hours.

I guess Apple excluded this guy from the design team.

You’re wearing it wrong

Apple Bumpers will be provided free of charge to the first 100 AVP owners. For everyone after that, $499. Y'know, priced just below the optional head strap accessory, to make you wish you weren't such a cheapskate in the first place.

Vision Pro owners experiencing headaches and neck pain, among other issues.
there’s no way those that are reporting this problem are wearing it correctly or are using the correct light seal for their face. i practically fall asleep in mine.
Experiencing a loss of consciousness from a migraine after using the Vision Pro isn't the same as falling asleep though :p
